Carly, thank you for another excellent video. I enjoyed it as much as the first one and will definitely add some of the recommended books to my tbr. I am from South Africa and was so thrilled to hear you say that you want to expand your reading experience to African literature. I would like to recommend a few Afrikaans books (that have been translated into English) to check out. 1. The long journey of Poppie Nongena by Elsa Joubert 2. Circles in a forest by Dalene Matthee 3. Fiela's child by Dalene Matthee 4. Feast of the uninvited by P G du Plessis It is all books that I have read and enjoyed. It is all good books, although not yet old enough to be considered classics. Enjoy!
