I can remember back in 2012 or sth like that, a friend of mine with A1, simple basic knowledge in English had been listening to your podcast every day while he was on his way to the gym. After half a year, his English improved so much that he could lead a decent conversation. I was amazed, wow! Ever since then, I've been on and off the podcast. Good job, Luke!

Conclusion: old fashioned English is way easier to learn than nowadays English. I mean to a person who speaks Portuguese because many words are similar, for sagacity-sagacidade, move a muscle - mover um músculo, and they mean the same. I loved this story, as you said, my cup of tea.

I was looking for something like that :) I became very good at Arabic because I read many stories in Arabic from an early age. I started studying English because I like the language and the culture of Britain, as well as the great legacy of British literature. By the way, I finished reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl today, and then I found your work on KZbin. You’ve gained another student from Egypt. Thank you!

Poe, and you did an excellent job on this one, I’ve started to listen to you some months ago when I discovered you channel by mistake, what a good one!! You are a lovely teacher; I'm so happy to have that opportunity. Your lessons are attractive, simple, and straightforward. Edgar Allan's stories are very strange. He always described psychological things. In that story, I think the man is getting worried about his filth. And it grew slowly, and he would be mad .OK, thanks I'm from Sri Lanka
