When I use a little bit of persent tense for past story then my examiner say that it's wrong. And on my performa shit he write it as a my mistake 🤦‍♂😔😭. Is this thing wrong or right? And many times I am stuck in this that it's right to use two tense and specially persent tense in past. Please tell me and make it clear.

"It must've happened around 2 or 3 years back, I guess" is my favourite way to say "when" something happened in part 2 ;) Like Keith mentioned, it's also a flexible structure. We can use it in many other situations, too. For example, "It must've cost me around 5 or 6 dollars, I guess" or "I must've been about 7 or 8-years old at the time, I guess" or "The mall must be around 5 or 10-minutes drive from my home, I guess" or "It must be around 2 or 3km away, I guess" We use "must" to state something based on our knowledge of it, must've (must have) is a great contraction to use in spoken English, too :) Good luck, everyone!
