Good evening sir, as per my previous commitment, today I watched this editorial session as your organization usually closed on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Motivational quote is “Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most". Editorial is concerning to reversal of decision to allow e-commerce companies to resume deliveries of non-essential items. In editorial:- The Centre's last-minute reversal of its decision to allow e-commerce companies to resume deliveries of non-essential items. It is welcome step, given that the country is still in deep crisis during the pandemic. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) directed states to ensure allowing the movement of vehicles used by e-commerce operators for transporting non-essential be excluded from the list of additional activities that would be started shortly. The MHA did not intimate the reason for U-turn. It must have happened, after raising questions by some opposition parties and the retail trade as brick and mortar retailers as they could have affected completely on its previous decision. It is true that the online purchasing can be prevented human interaction while purchasing through shops would increase the transmission of the virus. It might be possible that the people would purchase non-essential items through online in bulk which will help transmission of the virus and also required many delivery boys. Government should not give permission for purchasing of non-essential items. In my notion:- It is an appreciable step in order to break the chain of transmission of the contagious virus. Ensuring the all precautionary measures, Government may allow some non- essential items so that econnomy can grow up and poor people will also earn money through selling the goods as their lives have effected badly. At this time, Officials who are doing work from home, they may allow to purchase laptop through online after proper verification. Government should also provide aid to the rural/poor people as the pandemic has been affected them most. Central government should direct the state governments to ensure that benefits of the schemes which were launched earlier, especislly providing free ration to poor people should get the needy people only. Rigorous action should be taken if any officials indulge in corruption related works. To scale up my writing skill I want to write down today' editorial summary in my own words. E. Commerce seems arbitrary while the flip flop of government decision on e. Commers companies. If lockdown extend for long time these non essientials initially turn in essential.
