Sir how "Both" and "All" are indefinite pronouns bcz as per definition in indefinite pronoun someone or something is not specified, while in the case of "both" and "All" everyone or all are specified. Kindly explain it.

Fits. Either is one of the few pronouns that take a singular verb.

17:11 in what sense you use the uncountable noun "little" in this sentence. Where is the noun that it diminishify?
@EnglishWithAshish
@EnglishWithAshish 3 жыл бұрын
It is used as a pronoun, not as an adjective. The general noun that goes with it is 'work'.

when we use Indefinite pronoun as subject, so what should we use as its object pronoun ?
@EnglishWithAshish

For a person, use THEM and THEIR (possessive) to be gender neutral. It's quite common in modern English. • If anyone comes to the shop, tell them to come later. • Someone was beating their dog at the park.

hi sir, thank u for the explanation i want to ask you how about either, neither, and each? i have seen your old videos about them, you said that they were into distributive pronoun, but they also into indefinite pronoun thanks for the answer i wait that
@EnglishWithAshish
@EnglishWithAshish 2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call all of them indefinite. The element of distribution is there. And do pay much heed to the catagory, understand the application.
