It depends on how words are used. If attack is used as a noun so we can use the preposition on with the word attack. Eg. Terrorist attack on the airport has shocked all civilians in the country. Terrorist attacked the airport and killed many civilians.

We often mistakenly use the word "attack" with the proposition" on" which is incorrect. I have never used the word resemble with any preposition because when we read a word order again and again we get used to that word and how to use it. wo word rat jata ha.Baqi Jo word ap nay parhaye qudrati toor par zehan Mein rat gye hein except attack k magar ap k yah video bar bar dekhnay ki waja say attack b rat gia ha. this video is very helpful I have just watched this video repeatedly about ten times by now.
