Not sure if it's just and east coast Canadian saying but "It doesn't float my boat" is one I've used many times. Haven't heard anyone use it since moving to Toronto.

You know what Lucy? I used to watch your video when I just arrived here in the UK and I learnt quite a lot from you which I appreciated very much. And now I’ve lived here for almost two years and half. The thing is I’m addicted to your videos, I can’t resist from watching it. You doing absolutely cracking job and keep it up. Imagine if you have to go somewhere else outside the UK for holiday or for work, you would be back with a pale of presents from those people you have helped a lot. "It's not my favorite." This one is very polite too. You can use it when someone invites you to do/eat something you don't like. So when someone invites you to eat some broccoli pizza, don't say Yikes :) "-hey, want some broccoli pizza? - no thanks, it is not my favorite." "-we are having a rock-N-roll class, join us, it is very fun! -no thanks, it is not my favorite."

It seems like "not fond of" is never used in its literal sense: how you feel about a PERSON. I guess that is in order to be polite.

I like saying "I'm not a fan of", I use it all the time, usually as "I'm not really a fan of...." to make it more indirect. No. 12 is pretty funny, I've never used it before

Lying and making things up are not really my forté. 4. You didn't know that I wasn't very keen on martial arts, did you? *5.* *I've had enough of the way those upperclassmen hazed all of us back in freshman year!* No. 5 is perhaps what I'd especially say in real life, though. 😂

Oh no! How in the world can saying "I am sick of.." be more polite than "I don't like"?.... "I don't like" is way more neutral than saying you dislike something to the extent that your health is in stake. I don't buy that Lucy, even English is not my first language.
