Paul: You can also hold the Concho down on a piece of 3/4" pine with green dopping wax (used for holding stones for cabbing or faceting), as seen in this vid below and then freeze the piece and pop it off the wax cleanly by striking the piece of pine on it's side with a hammer blow. Then you won'thave the steel holder piece protruding up limiting your movements; kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5qvfZSPhctokK8feature=shared

No they are not. He either uses templates to draw out the concho and saw it out. But as you can see in the vid, he preps the engraving by drawing it out by hand. (I noticed before the vid, there was a Lazer engraver add, nothing to do with the vid above)
