i always feel really sorry for them, i understand how he feels. their relationship seems so intense and that’s probably why it never works out. they try to understand each other but are never on the same page. chenlv is too hard headed and liu cong is definitely struggling with something mentally and emotionally, and their attachment styles don’t seem compatible either. i completely understand when he says he would’ve rather not known him because when things are good they’re amazing but it hurts just as much when they’re bad :/ i don’t think they can just make up so easily as they always have, i really hope they work on themselves and if they need to ask for help to do so then that’s okay too. really wish for them to be happy and together but in the right way 💕

It seems to me like Chen Lv has some type of avoidance attachment style and Liu Cong has some type of anxious attachment style, then they both suffer from some pretty significant emotional immaturity, black/white thinking, and they have an idealization, devaluation and discard pattern of harmful behavior.

@@felineoverlordservant2419 yes i agree!! super super toxic even just the clashing attachment styles can make for a reallyyy toxic and messy relationship but on top of that they have a lot of other stuff going on

They both need to see a psychologist. especially liu cong. and after they work out their problems with the doctor, they need to build a relationship. until they do that, their relationship will always be like this. they have very strong emotional swings. one moment you look at them and they are so nice. the next moment you are shocked by their attitude towards each other. They both do the wrong thing to each other time after time after time. thank you jen for posting such a long video with subtitles. you are the only thing keeping the foreign fans going. when i saw the news about this on tic toc, no one responded to my comments properly. i was either ignored or answered in another language, which made me not understand anything even with the translation. you are the best

Chen Lv also seems to be the partner that discards quickly, maybe because he fears being abandoned so he’ll discard the person before they can abandon him. These are all just conjectures, of course.

Thank you Jen as always for translation. I've rooted for this couple for a while now, and I got extremely worried whenever they broke up. This time, though, I can see that it's best for them to break up. Right person, wrong time. Their love is real and their chemistry is amazing, but they don't see face to face in what really matters, their hearts and temper. Just be happy whatever your decision is, Chen Lv and Liu Cong.

Honestly, as much as I love them and their relationship, breaking up and growing as people separately seems like the best course of action for them. Their relationship is clearly very unhealthy. They want to understand each other but struggle to see each others point of view. They seem to want to make it work, but they are so very different that it's a struggle. Cong is obviously struggling mentally and emotionally, and Lvlv is too stubborn and set in his ways. They need time apart, time to heal, to better themselves. If they truly love each other, after all of that, they can get together once they are both well. Trying to maintain a relationship when neither side is okay is very difficult. With one of my previous relationships I was too clingy, gave away too much, was too dependent, and unstable mentally while my partner was too reserved, didn't express their love in a way I could understand, and to be honest put in a lot less effort. We dated for about 2 years before I finally realised it wasn’t healthy, I was hurting them, and they were hurting me. That was honestly one of the hardest but best decisions I made since after that, I was finally able to put all my efforts into bettering myself. For us, getting back together was never an option, but from what we've expressed to each other, being friends has been good. We get along much better now. And like my therapist once said, just because you love someone doesn’t mean you should be with them. You can love someone with your entire being but decide not to date them because you are aware it's not good for either of you. I really want them to be happy and hope they can learn to grow and better themselves.❤️

@@ecytb7042 At that point, it's their fault. They need to get better self-control... It's like an addiction, and they both need to get help, professional help. It sounds insensitive, but this is a serious problem. They need someone to help them finally realise their flaws, I hope they can find a way to deal with this in a more healthy manner soon...

@@ecytb7042 I am aware they are young, but bad habits die hard. It's important for them to try, things like this really stick with a person as they grow. It can continue to affect them both mentally. As much as I love seeing them be happy together, things like this can spiral into worse and worse. I get my comment sounded very rude and, I guess, angery, but it was just concern. I think it's better for them to act now before it becomes something they can't return from.

I love that he is being so honest about it. He is also very neutral so he sees everything clearly as it is. I hope they get to a conclusion (but then again the conclusion right now is that they have broken up so...)

I think what’s wrong is that they’re very passionate and maybe need therapy. From what I’ve witnessed, as I’m in school to be a therapist, CL seems to have symptoms of bipolar disorder as he has extreme highs and lows and LC craves attention and devotion. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, I just think they need time apart to grow and learn as people.

That's not what bipolar is about. I don't mean this in an aggressive way but as someone who has to deal with this disorder on the daily, it's more about long periods being low and then depressed, not changes from a day to another. Still, of course, Chen Lv could have it.

Sinceramente el hecho de emborracharse cada dia durante 7 dias y enviar mensajes diciendo "Te odio" tampoco va a ayudar en su relacion, asi no se solucionan las cosas, cada vez que pelean Chen Lv grita y se pone muy histerico y asi no son formas de hablar y llegar a un entendimiento. Ustedes deberian hablar tranquilos, serenos (sin haber bebido) y si ven que aunque se amen, son incompatibles entonces llegar al acuerdo de separarse siendo amigos, porque si no lo unico que lograran es hacerse mas daño mutuamente una y otra vez.

someone lock in a room and tell tell to reconcile cause every time they have a talk they gonna argue and get mad and ignore each other while its good not to fight angry ignoring is not helping anything but settle the current emotion until it comes up again because it was never solved in the first place just pushed aside

Desperdiçar um amor por imaturidade é triste e lamentável. Acompanho vocês algum tempo, mas na correria da vida não estava conseguindo, e hoje ver isso me decepcionou, pois isso é por imaturidade. Sentem e conversem e decidam se vão continuar ou não. Depois vem a público e diz se continuarão ou não. I’m really not sure about theses two and this video is so sad I watched a few of their videos and sometimes they look like a perfect couple then the next they are arguing and breaking up ??? They definitely have a love hate relationship and find it hard to be together and hard to be apart they are so young and I think they need time to grow by themselves maybe they are not meant to be together if they are only hurting each other when they are together maybe time apart first then try to sit down on their own and talk about their relationship honestly and if they can make it work and if not maybe call it a day I know it’s heart breaking but too be hurting each other like this is not healthy for either of them I hope and pray you guys work things out you are such a cute couple
