Actors portrayals of the novel's characters on point. Whole drama did the novel justice. One of the most investing and heartwrenching romances that cannot be, but at least their reincarnations lived a happy and carefree life.

It also helps that this Ost song is one of my favorites and you made the most of its full potential. That's why it remains a masterpiece mv in my eyes and I always go back to it. I watch it quite often when I want to reminisce on this drama. The actors did brilliantly at portraying their perspective characters; I think I like the drama version more than the book.

@@jdvierra I haven't used Spotify for ages so I cannot say for sure it this song is available there but I've heard a few other fans complaining that they also tried to find GMP ost from Spotify without any results. Like you, I also prefer the drama version more than the book. The characters are better developed and I love the details about the palace politics in the drama and how they managed to flesh the events and characters based on only few mentions in the book. Amazing writing right there!

@@Chibiaya10 Hopefully the GMP fans will add this song on their Spotify account one of these days, I would love to add it on my playlist songs. Like you said, the song is both beautiful and tragic, very much like the drama. I have to confess, I'm having trouble moving on after watching GMP. I had to resort to re-watching dramas that are/were on my favorite list, but it just couldn't compare. To give you an example, Jade Palace used to be on my favorite list before GMP, but after re-watching it post-GMP, Jade Palace seemed mediocre in comparison. Thankfully the GMP production team decided to make the short films of their modern day incarnation; it's comforting to know that the characters had their "happily ever after" in their modern day lives. :)

Ikr, Im glad that the production team took pity on the fans so they gave us the happy ending for their incarnated lives. I wish those episodes were longer. You're welcome :) Me too, I was so impressed by Chen Xing Xu. Like I kept watching his facial expressions instead of reading the subtitles :D The uncut version is being aired in Korea right now so don't worry, we'll eventually get to see all those deleted scenes that were cut from the Mainland broadcast. I am still debating whether I should make more mvs right away or wait until the release all those uncut episodes...
