I love him. He's the best english teacher ever! I think phrasal verbs are one of the things that improve your english when you're talking with a native.
@DREIKVENONW6 жыл бұрын
Bosco Coelho how wil you talk to a native without knowing them? I mean, they use it all day every day. You can't even understand what you are listening to.
@Dimzidze4 жыл бұрын
@@DREIKVENONW i can't understand what do you say
@DREIKVENONW4 жыл бұрын
@@Dimzidze wow, it's a really old comment. I said that we have to know a lot of phrasal verbs in order to understand native speakers. It's really important that we learn them.
@antinoofromgreece65603 жыл бұрын
@@DREIKVENONW Yeh it's quite important but kinda boring sometimes. I've been learning new phrasal verbs almost every day and it is not so easy to remember due to the similarities between them and confusing sentences. But I have to know it, anyway.
@DREIKVENONW3 жыл бұрын
@@antinoofromgreece6560 these comments are really old, it's funny how we change the way that we think and see things. Like, to be honest here, it all depends on what you want to do with your English. It's not only phrasal verbs, but also structures, idioms, expressions and what not. I have stopped studying lists of them, I just watch and read stuff in English, it's just normal to me now. So, If I happen to come across a new one, I just look it up and that's it. There is a bunch of them, but some are more used them others and they aren't infinite, you will get to the point where you won't even notice that you are studying anymore. Like with this comment, 3 years ago I was really studying English. Taking notes, writing everything new down, studying grammar and stuff. Nowadays, I couldn't care less about it. Studying English gets boring, but if you start using it as a source of pleasure, like in my case, you won't even notice that it is another language. I play video game in English, I study in English, I watch videos on KZbin in English, not because I have to, but rather cuz I want to. I don't use my native language anymore, I only do so at work and when I am talking to my friends and relatives who don't speak English.

Thank you so much for this new video teacher. It helps a lot. I feel that learning phrasal verbs is like a challenge , there are many and they are very difficult to learn if you don't practice them. It's confusing because they sometimes have different meanings and we just have to learn them by heart. Thanks again and have a very nice day.

Would really appreciate if you suggest all the exact synonym phrasal verbs too eg "step back=back off=walk away" so that people can chose which one they find easy to use to explain particular situation appropriately. That will really help people speak. All of us are comfortably understanding all English. This is the way we speak our mother tongue too. As it too has some 5 to 10 expressions to precisely explain exactly same situation but we choose only 1 out of those & stick with it for life. We understand others but we struggle to use them for life just like 95 % people are not ambidextrous.
