Hi Elena! Hmm. If you’re looking for a lower price option, the YMCA is a good choice. For a bit of an upgrade, schools like ILSC and EC have good reputations. The Vanier Language Centre (or Language School…can’t remember their full name) is also good, and I know some people who work there. I hope this gives you some options to explore!

Hi, Alex. What's the correct answer, please? Jane is the (old / oldest / older / elder) of the two sisters.
@engvidAlex
@engvidAlex Жыл бұрын
“Jane is the older of the two sisters” is grammatically correct if you want to follow strict grammar books which say to use comparatives when you compare two things, and superlatives when you compare three or more. However, it’s not surprising at all to hear “She’s the oldest of the two” in speaking.

Hi, Alex. Would you mind if I picked your brains? If no, I am starting teaching on KZbin, so could you offer any advice what I need to set myself up?
@engvidAlex
@engvidAlex Жыл бұрын
It depends on your situation and what tech you have access to. FYI, I work with a team of talented people who handle the lighting, recording, and editing of my videos. Really though, you can make quality videos just with a cellphone if you really want to! There are really only two things you need to keep in mind when starting a KZbin channel: 1. Quality 2. Consistency Make videos people will look for and want to see. And post on a regular basis even if it’s just once or twice a month. I’m not sure if this is the type of answer you were looking for, but it’s what I can suggest. :)
@peaceprosperity3951

@@engvidAlex I greatly appreciate your comprehensive response. Yes, this is exactly the answer I have been seeking. It is obvious that you have a talented team behind your because the success speaks for itself. I wish if you could touch on very briefly if it is financially worthwhile going on KZbin.

Hi, Alex. Can you tell me what the correct answer is? Anyone who (violates - penetrate) the rule will be severely punished.

“Violates” is the correct verb. “Violate rules” is the verb-noun collocation. 👍
