In British English, no article should be used before 'toothache' unless the noun is preceded by a qualitative adjective, such as 'bad', 'strong', 'terrible', etc. 'Toothache' is not countable, unlike 'headache' or 'stomachache' which can be used in plural when speaking of repeated conditions. However, we never say 'toothaches' even if multiple teeth hurt at a time.

It should be, “Now, you see the pattern,” but after listening to it just now, my pronunciation wasn’t that good at that moment. :)

You can say "I've had a headache since yesterday" or "I've been suffering from a headache since yesterday." Both are correct. :)
