Use a Litelok and 2 motion alarms covered with a bike cover to avoid getting your bikes stolen ffs! Can't even afford what you lost yet and it sickens me seeing people being negligent about security of something as expensive as that!

Great video thanks for the info. I bought the bike, received it two days ago, put 15 mi on it and the back tire blew out. Had walked 5 miles home. My advice to anyone who buys this really good bike is to take that $100 you save and put some good tires on there Right off the bat. I've seen a few videos of this bike and it's predecessor and it seems to be a common problem.

Yikes! That sucks brother! I have banged the dogsnot out of the rear wheel off of curbs, rocks, and dirt and it’s holding up perfectly. So sorry to hear that you had that experience. I think they do have warranty coverage on the tires for six months don’t they?

@@FreshandFelicia well I changed the tube and turns out I must have hit something because there was a puncture hole. Not the not the manufacturer's fault. However when I press the throttle or use the PAS I've started hearing what sounds like bearings rattling. Also on close inspection I see that there seems to be some oil or lubricant coming from around the cassette. Does yours do that? Thanks again

Do you think engwe will review the way to unlock the speed limit like there other bike?,am planning on getting this maybe next month,they can't put so much power in the bike and not letting us make use of it some areas here in Italy we can speed up ur ebike

They're telling us no, but not telling us why. Thinking it may have something to do with helping the motor last longer? PAS still tops at 29-30, but throttle is still 22-ish. I bet someone will find a way. They always do.

I love my engine x. Bought it last October for £900. Bargain. I've done so much to it since. Bmx bars, 203mm rotors, dual batteries with balancer kit (23ah total) a power analyser and an extra wide saddle. Side mirror, extender bar with phone mount and changed the metal fenders for plastic ones. I also changed the axle bolts for the mid suspension to 86mm ones as the originals were a bit short. Here in the u.k and Europe ebikes are restricted to 250w and 15.5mph max assist after which the motor cuts off. I bought the x as it complies withs regs but it actually peaks at 960w at 19amps. I get about 55miles at 15mph on assist level 2 from the 2 batteries. It has its flaws and most I've addressed and fixed.

Engwe throttle can be turned on or off in its settings easy enough just follow the instructions on their site

I got it up to about 30 mph, but I didn’t push it as hard as I could. I might’ve been able to get it up to 32. And as far as the torque sensor goes I don’t believe it can be removed but I’ve never tried. I think that would interfere with the pedal assist but maybe that’s what you want to do?

The steerer shaft is mounted the wrong way, it has to be twisted at 180° from what i see on a video

For information of UK buyers the UK model cannot be unlocked it is permanently restricted to 15 mph and 250 watt power 😢

@@FreshandFelicia I have model 1.0 so it’s a common assembly mistake. But if the stem latch where to fail the direction you had it is probably more dangerous than the correct way.

with all due respect, but seeing a review of a bike with the steering wheel mounted backwards already loses all credibility. I have this ebike, and the truth is that its material is very weak, the engine is powerful but it breaks down quickly, it's not a purchase for 3 or 5 years. Good for traveling on the road as a means of transport, it is not suitable for dirt roads because it breaks quickly. Cheap product with low quality.

Heck, even my (Dual 1Kw motor) Zeegr S1 is sub 5 second to 20, I suspect it will get that last 5 mph to 25, in well under an additional 7 seconds. 164 Newton Meter of torque means something. It means a lot more than the published 75 Newton Meter handed out by the Engwe. Below 25 MPH, torque and Watts matter, above 25, volts start to matter more.

I want to be able to deal with 35 to 40 MPH street traffic for my commute to work. It only has to do this for about 1 mile of my trip into work. The rest is trails, which I slow down for (even when empty).

I get on my HANEVEAR 100 to 25 mph in 13.1 seconds after to 28 it takes an additional 3 seconds. Which to me imo is good! I like that it is a monster for torque in climbing with its dual motors. So 16.3 seconds to 28. These bikes are built in the same frame. Great bikes for sure

Is it possible to get a better battery for more range with this bike , I wouldn't want to go faster then 30 mph but might want to do more then 60 .miles on a single charge

Dude, how far do you actually need to go? I can’t see myself going more than maybe 10 to 15 miles on an electric bike. At that point you really need a motorcycle or a car.

@FreshandFelicia well maybe your young and fit , I'm seventy years old I have a serious health issues so I need to try and keep myself in good working order and I did this by cycling which I have done all my life but now I can't ride my usual road bikes very far I need the pedal assist now and I like to do a lot of mileage so don't knock me pal for trying you might need it one day then you'll understand 😀
