This is a true test video so many Americans on KZbin on a 750w e bikes flying around flat roads is not a test it's just a run out. Riding up a 25% in the Lakes (the most beautiful place on earth) on a UK Legal E- Bike is how you test one out. Been looking for something to commute to work through Manchester City Centre mostly flat with a nice long run down the side of a Canal into Salford and yes I'm sold and ordered one. Thanks for the video subscibed, liked and looking forward to viewing your channel and future content.

I have a problem with the bike steering to the left. I had to fight to keep the bike going straight. Did you experience something like that? I send Engwe a video what it does. They told me they are sending me a new fork and headset.
@LakeDistrictcyclistАй бұрын
No mine is perfectly fine, you might have a fault mate

For that environment I would definitely be swapping out the chainring to get a higher cadence, it will help the motor more than grinding up :)
@LakeDistrictcyclist2 ай бұрын
I get what you are saying but I still had a few gears left which I could of used but was really fun
@alanmeasures8337Ай бұрын
Chain ring, Do you mean the sprocket mate
@LakeDistrictcyclistАй бұрын
@alanmeasures8337 maybe I call it a chain ring
@alanmeasures8337Ай бұрын
So you think a bigger sprocket would give it more go something like 50÷ tooth

Be interesting to see a side by side comparison with your x35 powered Orbea. Whilst the x35 has less torque it has less weight also which could be a huge factor. Range as well could be interesting as the reduced weight might make getting home easier on the Orbea, if it runs out of juice.
@LakeDistrictcyclist2 ай бұрын
Orbea far better if you want to use as normal bike or like you said run out of juice but that climb, I’ve never flown up it like I did today, not much effort at all the bike did the work, never out of breath. But run out of juice and not much chance you are riding it far but so much fun 😊

Why did you go downhill in speed 5?
@LakeDistrictcyclist2 ай бұрын
Didn’t really matter that because I was going over 15.5mph the motor wouldn’t of worked and I didn’t turn a pedal so didn’t really matter what level speed I was on 😊

What is the range of that thing 20km?
@LakeDistrictcyclist2 ай бұрын
Says 140km but on my roads probably get 30km on max power with the big climbs, leave it eco prob get a lot more

@@LakeDistrictcyclistYes thanks but i dont want the range any less than it is.To be fair i use it unlocked and ride it pretty rapid so ill just have to put up with it or slow down😅(or buy a spare battery).I agree with your summary of the bike im realy enjoying using it.

Had mine almost a month now, the power is unbelievable. I'm 78yrs old, had a conventional ebike for six years and stopped cycling two years ago. Missed cycling so decided to get back to it and opted for the E26 as it seemed good value. So far I'm not disappointed.

Hi there I feel very reluctant in paying all this money for bike,had a ride yesterday afternoon, and it felt so fragile,there is hardly any carbon on it, the ultegra if it is the real ultegra then it looks very cheaply made,a chap who lives up the road from me has got a Scott road bike and he has got ultegra and his looks a lot better than my bike,Taiwan parts can't be that good,is there any chance of knocking the price down as £3,500 for a bike that I don't think will last very long,my specialized sirrus which I am selling is the same weight as the canyon 2cf8 and the gears etc are very well made Hi there I have emailed them as I am not satisfied with the price for bike. I believe the parts are TAIWAN

@LakeDistrictcyclist hi there if you have had it six months or more ,you shouldn't have to have paid for repair, if you have two year warranty, bye the way I rode from maulds meaburn yesterday to thirlmere reservoir bridge, well worth the visit,I had to get off the bike loads of times as I over did it and became Dizzy and exhausted, I made it,the journey was 58miles,but I didn't have a car parked so I could cycle back to it,it was a task,maybe next time I will take me car which will relieve the journey home for being 72 on 1st October I was proud of myself.
