this morning I tried to memorize 20 face cards. it took four minutes 46 seconds, and I had one there. The last one. :-) it's only been one day since I started. Thank you for everything.

there are a few gaffes in my previous post. first, the list of items that started with Robert and blue socks, should have ended with Elizabeth and barbecue. The fountain pen was the last item on the first list of 30 items on the final CD. Secondly, the ideal states are beta and Alpha, not beta. Thirdly, I found an interesting problem. If you recycle the same Journey for multiple quizzes / tests there's a possibility that the memories make inflate if you don't review and strengthen them.. they will be conflated. today I went through the deck of cards and tried 24 cards ĺfrom 2 to 7). Before I went through the deck I created a new journey of 24 steps. When I went through the deck I found it easier to visualize the steps of the journey, and the 24 cards were memorized in less than 90 seconds. Granted, that's still very slow, but considering I started on Wednesday it's not so bad. and there were no errors. Thank you again for this powerful course. It is changing my life.

These techniques really work-you can also apply them to learn the computer based driving tests and CSCS tests, I passed the 45minute CSCS test in 5 minutes...Freemasonry (ceremonies have to be committed to memory), pop charts etc etc. Dominic’s CD’s are excellent - also get Tony Buzan’s books.

Hello Domonic I once found a magic lamp and when I rubbed it a Genie appeared and told me I could choose to have either an amazing memory or a large penis...I can't remember which one I chose 😂 (Stewart Francis' joke) I had the honour and thrill to have met you at the Cliffs Pavilion Southend and I told you that i had read your book How To Improve Your Memory and told you how it had enriched both my working life and personal life for the positive. I use many of the techniques you teach and although I don't practice them as regularly as I should to achieve total perfection I am able to memorise a whole deck of cards on which I have written the names of celebrities that I can impersonate which makes for a fabulous routine to present my talent. It shows my ability to memorise each playing card as well as giving the audience a comical impression. You are both an incredible talent and a charming modest man. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill with others. It certainly changed my life for the positive and enhanced my self being. Sending my best wishes. The Bobster 🥰 x

Dominic, I hope you can see this message. I have read your books and can now remember a pack of cards. The problem I have is I have to look at each card about 3 times before remembering it and it takes me about 20 minutes to memorize the pack. I use locations at my gym to remember the cards. Do you have any tips because I have been doing this now for a year and I don't see any improvements. Thanks.
@Regzillaaa8 жыл бұрын
Hey, change the place from a gym to your house or a familiar walking route, the gym has too much of the same stuff, you could try that. If your looking at cards three times your system needs evaluating, have you made the dominic system for rememberig numbers? This is a major help
@giasone7778 жыл бұрын

Regan how many minutes does it take you to remember a pack?
@Regzillaaa8 жыл бұрын
Dude, if you learn the Dominic number system you can assign numbers to the cards like this= 01-13 hearts, 21-33 clubs, 41-53 diamonds, 61-73 spades
@koreanvaporwave31097 жыл бұрын
Are you using the dominic number system? Also are you using 52 locations or the half of it? Because you can combine 2 cards into 1 loci. Also don't use the Gym only. Use a road you walk often e.t.c.

Oh as an African living in the UK my brain is clogged because of the abundance of food. In the office I walk with a dodgy memory because they share free cakes and force them on you every hour. I have developed a hatred for cakes and sweets now I don't wanna see them. SO much food being wasted when people are starving else where.
@mR-dc4oq9 ай бұрын
Welcome to First Nation states. As the world economic forum (WEF) rolls out it’s 2030 agenda ( led by Klaus Schwab) imposing equity - everyone will be starving equally. I’m old. It was not like that 50 years ago. People had respect for food- most was home made - and snacking was not a thing. There was little to no eating between meals. I hear your concern and your compassion. Keep in mind- to a significant effect the starvation in Africa is, in part, politically induced.
@univuniveral97139 ай бұрын
@@mR-dc4oq Well said, sir. Poverty in Africa is politically induced, and so is the literacy. Knowledge of European languages is hampered by our leaders because they know if people understand and speak these languages perfectly, graduates would have to much access to information out there. I praise the author of 'Bleeding Stubs', because the short fiction is on another level as concerns African authors. His style and the themes are far removed from what out usual writers offer. Please check it out and read. Give the guy some support.

What if I have to recall the things which I read months earlier ,as a medical student I need to remember everything I read but fails to do so .What to do then ?
@samrat4477 жыл бұрын
You can't recall things that you have not committed to memory...in this case trained memory. Its just like you can't find a file in your cupboard if you haven't put the file in the cupboard in the first place. So I am afraid you will have to re-read the same thing you read months ago, maybe just important points and not the whole thing, but this time you will put the information systematically in the cupboard( so to speak) of your trained memory. Its a system that teaches you to put things in the right place systematically so that you can find them easily later on and not a method of finding things you don't know where you've put.

Hi Dominic! WOW! What a thrill it is to talk to the 8-time world memory champion. I think, no disrespect, Dominic, that the competition is even more difficult now. Ben Pridmore I think rules the card competition though? as he has done for about 10 or 12 years now? Not being big headed Dominic, but to prove I have a reasonably good memory, although not in your league, why not read my QIQ Society Member Profile, under Mike Fuller, under the QIQ Society. Obviously you are free to do what you wish, and please feel under no obligation. I think you and my friend Tony Buzan, are lovely people by the way! I only know so many poems from memory through tenacity, I have not got much memory ability other than I set out to learn these poems so I do. The actor Simon Callow allegedly can recite all of Shakespeare's 154 sonnets from memory! I just can not compete with that! With Love and Best Wishes, Dominic! Cheers - Mike.
