Chrome was my main squeeze for many years then they turned weird on me, it started freezing and crashing, so I started using Firefox and I haven't looked back, it's been two years now, but I do pay attention to tricks and tips for Chrome, so thank you, Brian.

Wow very very good bro. Just installed Windows 11 (Ghost Spectre) and was looking around here for a Debloater. These settings really have speeded up Chrome. GG's thanks.

Brian - does deleting passwords in browser data advanced just delete them from the browser on the particular machine in use or actually delete them from the chrome password manager and hence synced to other possible linked machines/laptops/pcs? I am hoping that it's just locally and would therefore mean having to resign into sites again if sites have been set to remember you. Thank you.

Good video but 'Memory Saver' had many issues in the past which actually slowed down my browsing and sometimes preventing tabs to load properly, so I turned it off and all is normal again. Might have been an issue when it was still in beta, have not tested it since, issues might have been resolved since its release.

Thanks Brian I sometimes use Chrome because the default browser I use is Brave which I am given to believe is built on the Chrome platform. I use Chrome as I said because sometimes I get a blocked message using Brave for some sites which will pull up in Chrome and I have no idea why this happens. I am at the ame times bit concerned by the way that Google seemingly knowing what I have been doing or how I seem to use certain sites a great deal. So what I would like to know is can I still use the settings you have shown in the Brave browser.

I use Chrome for sites which I use a Google account with (KZbin, mostly), and other browsers for anything else, where I never _ever_ sign in to Google. I'm not saying Google will not know anything like this, but it loosens the grip quite efficiently.

Is it just me or has google FU chrome. The description in on the side now and when I click on "more" it disappears completely?

Even with this video I am pretty sure that Chrome will still track what you do and send it to Google no matter what.

I have never had a problem with google storing my data as long as the data is secure and i would say google databases are highly secure...

If & when Google implements manifest V3, I will stop using it, instead I will use Firefox. I have 15 extensions running & have no problems at all with speed.

Firefox no private either just slightly, slightly better...
@Aaron-145 ай бұрын
Brave will probably support Manifest V2 extensions too, as they said.

When showing how to setup the Password Manager (at 1:50 min), you used a fake username. I'm curious as to why you used "666" as your fake username for the example(?)

The best privacy thing you can do with Chrome is to _not_ use it for anything you don't need Google login for. There are other browsers for all that. And Brian, JavaScript has nothing to do with Java, just like catfish aren't cats.

@@NorthernChimp I can, I use bitdefender and does well with secure password encryption that you need password to access site to unlock, Many options, But common sense is always needed whilst navigating the web still more so than ever, Paired with vpn or even the new sandbox browers to help shield you from sites trying to access your pc in anyway, Nothing is sadly fool proof with all these hackers about.

Isn't Opera a Chinese company? I've used Opera in the past, and I discovered that hundreds of files are still in my operating system tracking you. from the Revo Uninstaller that I have on my computer. I personally wouldn't use Opera, to be honest.
