Enhanced video shows who visited Lori Daybell’s storage unit the same day her relative was shot at

REXBURG - Enhanced, higher-quality surveillance footage appears to answer questions about who visited Lori Vallow Daybell’s storage unit in Rexburg last year.
The video may provide insights into the disappearance of her children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan, who have been missing since September. She is in the Madison County Jail on $1 million bail and charged with two counts of felony child desertion and nonsupport of children, along with several misdemeanors.
She rented the unit at Self Storage Plus in Rexburg on Oct. 1. Over the next two months, she and sometimes one or two men visited the locker 10 times. Personal belongings were put into storage, including children’s items, a photo album, blankets featuring pictures of the children and bikes and scooters.

The big question is who was with her when she visited the facility Oct. 2.
Meanwhile, in Arizona …
That morning, in Gilbert, Arizona, Brandon Boudreaux was shot at while driving home from the gym. At the time, he was married to Lori’s niece, Melanie Pawlowski, and court documents show he had a large life insurance policy and assets totaling more than a million dollars.
The bullet missed Boudreaux’s head by inches, and police say the person who shot at him was driving a Jeep registered to Charles Vallow, Lori’s former husband. At this point, Vallow had been dead for nearly three months, and Tylee routinely drove the Jeep, but she had been missing for about a month.
Rich Robertson, a private investigator from Arizona, said police have strong evidence Alex Cox, Daybell’s brother, was the driver and may have been the one who took the shot. Arizona police have not confirmed who they believe was driving the Jeep when the shooting occurred.
Pawlowski has denied she had anything to do with the attempt on Boudreaux’s life, and her lawyers said Cox could not have been in Arizona and Idaho at the same time.

Here’s what we see on the video of the Rexburg storage unit that day.
Surveillance video shows Daybell driving into the business in her blue Nissan Rogue with a man EastIdahoNews.com originally thought was Alex Cox, her brother.
A closer look at enhanced video recently obtained by EastIdahoNews.com shows it likely wasn’t Cox but Chad Daybell, her now-husband, based on the man’s walk, looks and mannerisms.
Timestamps on the video show a blue Rogue arriving at 1:25 p.m. but the owner of the storage facility says clocks were off by one hour, so Lori actually pulled in at 2:25 p.m. She made her way to the door of the building where her unit was, and two minutes later, at 2:27 p.m., got out of the vehicle with the man we believe is Chad.
So why does this matter?

The next day, surveillance footage shows a second man visiting the storage unit back in Idaho with Lori. This man, likely Cox, walks differently than Chad and carries the tire out rather than rolling it. He also carries the car seat by himself, rather than working with her like the day before.
Originally it was thought the vehicle seat could be a tote with something hanging over the end but the enhanced footage appears to clear up the confusion. It’s unknown where Lori and Cox took the seat and tire after leaving the storage facility.

No but I just looked up what normally happens when you don’t pay your storage bill. You normally have 30 days to pay any default and then they’ll wait 3 months before auctioning off your stuff to recoup the lost funds for the unit. No police are involved. This is a special case because the police got a search warrant for the house and storage unit. If there had of been no warrant these items would have essentially disappeared.

So, this also shows that Chad was already in realtionship with Lori, before his wife "died" which can help prove he really did poison his wife and her murder was premeditated. Also, he claims how he didn't even know Lori had younger children, when and after they god married, but here we see him helping carry children's bykes, toys and other belongings. my gut tells me that they used the back of the jeep as a sniper's nest....it would free up the back of the jeep, and with tire gone, more angles. Very easy for someone to drive up in that jeep, and someone crouched down in the back would take the shot. Sounds and look very organized, WOW!! Crazy, Great report, I hope that these children are found, and that the people that are responsible for their disappearance, and these awkward, not-random shootings, are brought to justice.

So she and Chad were rolling that Jeep tire and back seat into the storage unit in IDAHO on the afternoon of the same day her niece's husband was shot at in ARIZONA (likely by Alex, her brother, the wayward family executioner). Looks like Chad was in on the plot. I hope they can arrest Chad quickly and/or make him talk. Thanks to Nate Eaton and his fantastic research team for brilliant reporting.

This makes much more sense that the idea they were hiding bodies in the unit. It also heavily implicates Chad in the whole affair. And if he's playing grabass with Lori already, that implies the two had a thing even before Tammy died, or at least immediately after. Whatever happened, he's in it up to his eyeballs.

Wow thank you for explaining the storage facility Nate .. now we know or think it was Chad and that the tyre may of been removed when Brandon was shot at as the back window would of been able to open that day as the tyre was not on the back of the vehicle. Great catch guys soon all of this mess will be stitched together to make a whole quilt .. its just a question of when .. when i first saw them rolling the tyre in the storage and thought if he was rolling it was there a small body in it we cant see? **URGENT*** Can you please look into something i definatly remember hearing early in this case. Apparently Chad Daybell was a person of interest in another murder years and years ago in Utah. Some other guy that was involved is serving time for the murder but insists he wasnt the actual killer. He refuses to give out any names. But apparently it was common "town knowledge" that Chad had actually done it. And they moved shortly after.

When Melanie's husband was shot at from the jeep, was the jeep parked and took off afterward? Or was it moving....like a drive by? If it was moving, then we are sure there was more than just Alex in it. Even if it was parked theres still a good chance it was more than just Alex bc someone would need to be ready to drive away quickly after the other person shot at him, but I guess it's always possible it was just Alex alone.

Yes. They tried lying to the police by saying they had never had contact with each other and didn't know each other personally but the police found evidence that they were lying and they each other's phone numbers. Chad has been caught in so many lies and I don't understand why he hasn't been arrested at all.
