regards overheads: from volleyball, spotting the ball with the off hand makes it much easier to get consistent contact. And, it gives you more shoulder rotation for greater power.

This video is one of your most helpful to me. It’s clear, simple, concise, relevant & helpful for where I currently am in my skills. This has been the case with so many of your videos, so thanks for helping me & others improve our game quickly. Kudos!

I look forward to your teaching videos as much as my morning coffee. Today's video is perfect for my wife's skill level, and mine too, as I'm close to 4.0, but lack consistency and mobility (63), but love this sport. Thanks to you, Drew and your 2 sisters for all your hard work, great editing and the skills you share with us fellow picklers.

What paddles are you guys using?

So if you have a firm grip on the paddle what would your grip pressure be?
@Raymundo619 Жыл бұрын
My counters really need work. Thanks for making that. I noticed your paddle face is slightly open when hitting. How important is that? Seems like a lot of pros naturally do that. Mine is definitely more flat or even closed a little. Maybe explains why they land short

I wonder where you coach this place?

I get it that we need master drops and 3rd-point shots, but doesn't hitting the ball in opponent's kitchen bring them to the net? Isn't the object to keep opponent away from the net? What am I missing?
@kevinkitts98207 ай бұрын
If you're taking the 3rd shot that means you're serving side and the opponent already has an advantage of being able to get closer to the kitchen faster. The drop allows you to approach it as well.
@kevinkitts98207 ай бұрын
Typically you want to be hitting it at their feet, but if they are at the kitchen line already the drop shot is doing this.

I'm a 4.0. Took me like 8 times of playing pb. Ez
@russbilderback3 ай бұрын
Lolz. Are you either self rated, or coming from a tennis background? Have you competed as a 4.0? If you really are a 4.0 after only playing 8 times, then you are a wunderkind freak of nature. Because 99.95% of people can't come close to that. Even most people with tennis backgrounds would have a hard time doing that.
