I play almost daily and watch the PPB tournaments on TV. During a PPB tournament the server, served the ball and it hit the top of the net, falling on his side of the court. The server was able to re- serve the ball again. The rules for both 2024 and 2025 call it a fault. Can you clarify it ???

I’m not sure if I’m playing correctly, but I use my backhand for almost every kind of shot unless I’m forced to switch to forehand, but I execute most of my spin shots with my forehand 😂 Even most of my power shots are all backhand lmao

The paddle serve was implemented to help people with one arm. It's a good rule. Unfortunately, there will be abuses of this rule to gain an unfair advantage.

Great video with the grips. I play tennis and kind of used my tennis grips and they seem to work but seeing the detail is great.

I prefer short serves with a curve out. It rushes the other player and if they manage to hit it good odds it’s a poor hit popped up for easy pickings. Usually the point is my teams and they are moved back anyways.

Also, I’d already kind of started experimenting with this serve before I saw this video, and I appreciate the tips to make it better. I’ve also tried the sharp, short banana serve in the deuce court so it just makes it past the service line and goes way wide. It’s slower so it spins away much more sharply. Maybe an add on video talking about that option? When done properly and unexpectedly, it’s an ace.

Did you really not notice that your buddy tripped over the net and fell over as you were ending your video? Or was that an intentional set up? 😂😂

Wait, you can toss the ball UP before a serve?…
@kenschoonover93954 күн бұрын
On a volley serve, yes. On a drop serve, no. Can't add spin on either serve.

@kelleeb78236 күн бұрын
Running through the shot is better if you can do it consistently. It is an advanced shot and beginners for the most part would be better off to stop or slow way down to hit the approach shot even if it takes you two shots to get to the kitchen. FYI

Maybe your sister can have her own tennis teachings on a KZbin channel of her own. I don't dislike pickleball but is basically a wiggle ball for originally baseball as a kid in 1970s. I'd much rather hit a tennis ball it's more satisfying and fun BOTH of you great players in both sports or their
