Love all your videos. Can you do some on court position when playing doubles. Also more on shot selection. At lower levels there are not many defensive shots they are always trying to hit a winner

Great tips and advice as always. 😊 you've explained it really well but also stressing how there is never a hard and fast rule but must be our next strategy must be based on what we as players assess or see in our opponents in terms of what they are doing or about to do.

My chess strategy: When facing a good dinker, I switch and work on the weaker dinker. Also, when faced against much younger, faster, better players,, I try to return every shot in a fashion that requires my opponent to hit with his paddle tip down...hard or soft shot. I don't have the accuracy to aim at opponents right or left shoulder.

I have a vid idea I'd love to see you do. There are times when some players or teams have a very unconventional way of playing. Like super high lob serves, or lobbing constantly during play, or they never dink, always speeding up even on a great drop, but intermediates still struggle against these types of players. I'd love a vid that covers how to best exploit these annoyances and more. They're obviously not good techniques because if they were, the pros would do them. The vid could be called something like "How to beat annoying players" haha

re: annoying speed uppers - especially at the kitchen, seems to be related to giving them a ball that is in their comfort zone - bounces too high, tendency to float and right in their forehand sweet spot. Add spin and make them reach or right at them. Easier said than done, practice pactice practice.

VIDEOS SUGGESTION: Consider incorporating SlowMo and Super SlowMo on all shots to break them down; volleys; forehand; backhand; serve; etc. Thanks.

Just an idea(if you arent already trying it), KZbin now lets you split test thumbnails, so you should try a test between you and your sister in the same position/graphics and see if either draws more clicks. At the very least you may find it interesting to see if one performs better or if both are close

I think split screen is an excellent idea, it would look like Trump debating Biden; kidding, kidding, kidding re; debate but pb split screen would be cool. How about point of view shot of the different kinds of grips.

I just started pickleball 2 weeks ago and have only played a few games. The person who introduced me to the game only had straight wood paddles. Then, a local Pro Shop allows for loaning paddles for testing. I told the guy at the pro shop that at 60 years old, it's a bit hard for me to do fast deep bending. He suggested trying the Paddletek Tempest Reign Pro v3. Coming from a straight wooden paddle, I absolutely fell in love with this. However, I'm hearing everybody think that Paddletek makes crappy paddles. And I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have purchased it. I'm definitely not a banger, and I play fairly strong game at the kitchen line, with decent reflexes and accuracy. For just starting out, people say I'm doing fairly well and would rate me a 2.5 or 3.0 player. I'm extremely confused on if I made a bad purchase or not. I would like to know what you think.

By the way - I noticed right away that the extended paddle helps me with reaching high, low and to the sides. However, I have had several balls fly right past my paddle, when I thought my paddle was right in front of it. Which makes me wonder if I should go back to a more standard boxy style, instead of the elongated Style. Could you suggest two or three paddles that may be good suggestions that are under $170?

@@vitaleonis1196there are so many paddles out there. The best paddle for you depends on what you need the paddle to do for you. Jon Kew has a running tally on paddles he's tested with their stats- check him out!

I'm fairly new to the game (5 months), but my advice would be is stick with the paddle you have until you learn the game a bit more. You will then at least learn with the paddle behaving conaistently, and you can work on your technique. Look for a new paddle when you feel like it is beginning to hold you back, don't worry about what others think of it. Best wishes.

i think it's more difficult to hit a drop when you are being pushed back by a good deep return .. so, it's best to drive the 3rd shot when the return is good and deep .. and drop it when the return is short ..
