When we realized it was a vampire concept, I swear I died and awoke from undeath myself. The was speculation based off group name and such but NOTHING could've told us it'd be dark academia twilight coming of age vibe

Bang PD is a "The Promised Neverland" manga fan, so we figured that the orphan concept is based on that and add them being vampires kinda parallels their storyline from iland to the outside world where nothing is certain. Given Taken for me is the best debut song. It's not just a song, y'know. It's like their origin, but at the same time, there's still a lot to uncover. we were theorizing every single shot because it was that good. Enhypen is all about storytelling with imagery but its never lineer. So it was really fun to trying to figure out. Enhypen song always had double meaning. First look songs are all about their storyline but with second look you get to see this ia also about their real life as an idol. Let me in basically showing us how we see idols: words ‘i wanna be your boyfriend’ is shadowing their parasocial relationship with their fans and how companies use them as a product. i mean if you look at general image: they are in a glass cage inside a museum. Their whole purpose is to be looked at and admired. But they want to break out of their limitations. Given taken was all about being famous. They were talking about following their dreams even its an unknown territory, and questioning if their fame was given to them or did they take this fame as prize for their hardships. ‘Thousands of doubts behind me There are tens of thousands of distrusts behind me But I go now I follow my dreams Drive through the question for life Between giving and taking It's time for my proving’ They want to prove everyone that they deserved this.

I actually love the intros and outros that enhypen have. my 2nd most listened song of 2023 was the intro to the bite me album (fate). But I also love the intro to the drunk dazed album. But I do understand if people skip them, hehe

as a lore whore, i actually love enha's intros/outros and the narrations spell out much of the lore before it even happens in the mvs! furthermore, it mirrors Dark Moon as each album is meant to be a chapter in their storybook and it's also kinda meta because there's a story within the story (there are canonically 3 established timelines so far as confirmed by Hybe themselves). all of the intros/outros fully in english are of the oldest timeline (hence the way it's chockfull of shakespeare references and uses middle english words. starting from dimension era though, they traveled to the present (i was gagged during the intro where they referenced the notes app blinker LMAOOO). and now current intros have all three languages which is so cool. kinda i despise how the beats are sometimes wasted but i still view it as a net positive! it's been so fun re-watching i-land with yall and i'm looking forward to going through their whole catalog as well!

If that's the case, I wasn't on the boat of you watching &Audition cause I wasn't sure if the format fit the style of survival shows you usually watch, but would totally be on board if it means you doing a dive like this!! I was very much gagged when it came out. I had alarms set and everything. One of the best debuts I have seen and it was crazy going from the prince like concept in iland to vampire. Wow crazy!

Something I LOVE about watching you guys' reactions is that you are SO GOOD at like analyzing the storyline and lore. Like most reaction channels just react to and appreciate the song and the visuals, but I'm so happy that you guys get intrigued by all the parts of the music vids. The things you discover and bring up are things that I would never have noticed on my own but are SO TRUE. Y'all are so smart. ALSO, if you love lore, storylines, and masterpieces to your eyes and ears, you should react to &Team's debut song Under The Skin! As a Boys Love I-land follow up to catch up on K, Taki, Ej, and Nicholas! I really would LOVE to see what you say about their lore/storyline. It's so intriguing and gives me chills, but it's a tricky one to analyze and put together, I'd love to see your theories. Also, their concept is werewolves since they're the "brother group" of Enhypen!

They served from DAY 1!!!! I remember when I first discovered them how shook I was at this debut?! They became my ult group and made me realize I never felt that way about anyone before them. Sunoo is my ult bias as well, he deserves the entire world, I wish the absolute best for him and enhypen as a whole. They truly are legends that are going down in history of Kpop. 🧡

So entertaining watching these reaction videos from you. Just discoverer you guys and I am binge-watching your vids now hahaha. Anyways, the thing that really got me hooked into Enhypen aside from their music is their complex yet consistent storytelling of their lore up to this day; the parallelism of the vampire story to their life and experience as idols, and how when I see a vampire story anywhere else, I would instantly think of Enhypen ahahaa. That's how iconic their storyline is and even the boys just embody this vampirism more and more as time goes by. Just a side note, I guess they've already hinted about their lore on their I-land songs, albeit so vaguely. And since Hybe (Bighit at that time) was in-charge of the songs and performnaces on the show back then c/o Bang PD, we can really say that they have planned and sealed the concept many years prior to I-land. Like if you dive deeply to the lyrics of Flicker and Calling (Run To You) there are hints of vampire/supernatural stuff in their lyrics and even in it's music production. It's really amazing to through and through.

My favorite part about the lore was how seemlessly it tied into what they were experiencing as idols in a rookie group! How everything had changed and on the surface it seemed great but there was all this nastiness underneath that had to be delt with. The carnival concept with the vampire one was crazy! I love it! And I hope we never, ever, ever let it go!

I'm a big fan of kpop lores and this is DEFINITELY the best storyline out there, and the fact they interwined two groups in it makes it even better. If you want to get really into it then &TEAM videos and the webtoons (especially enha's) are a must!

oh you just HAD to be there, it was absolutely wild seeing their concept unravel and people analyzing every single thing and coming up with crazy theories. it was truly one of the most exciting times in kpop for me since it was the first group i followed after getting into bts and everything was still pretty new to me. enhypen will always be special to me because of that and they just keep surprising with their concepts and music and it's crazy to think about how far they've come today when it feels like i-land was literally yesterday. i had no idea they were gonna be such a strong group back then and i'm so proud of them!

Not only did their Hybe Japan based survival show only happen in the past year or so, their werewolf concept directly links with Enhypen's therefore their plots and a few trainees will be crossing over as their story goes along. And I agree with the SUNOO WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS comment because I'm just now realizing that Sunoo was telling us with his first line he would be the one in the end (currently) to be sacrificed by fire. Y'all have said fish too many times. I'm calling Victoria Scone and Hollow Eve to shut this production down. TBH tho im a 15 year kpop veteran, I have 0 idea about boy groups besides SHINee and ZB1. Its been fun learning about the lore of Enhypen and being exposed to their music. Before y'all the most I knew about this group was related to Sunoo. I never followed boy groups but I did follow any idol who was a sissy.
