didnt understand why Ni-Ki was tied up at first . Then i came across a video that had a theory that Ni-Ki was probably Sunoo's protector. At Ni-Ki 's first verse we see Ni-Ki and Jake having dinner? So after that Jake basically betrays Ni-Ki and locks him up. So he can r!p out Sunoo's wings and heart without any trouble which he does. Its crazy but starting to make sense 😭.

I really liked this album! They just dropped 2 new songs 1 for their webtoon criminal love and 1 Japanese song called Blossom - There are fancams from their Seoul concert for the performance for Criminal Love - definitely worth the watch!!! The vocals are amazing and the lyrics are touching! I think ENHYPEN vocally is maturing right before our eyes. I love your ENGENEs reactions. I agree Jay's vocal have shown with this last album.

Enhypen are really something else, this album is probably the best they’ve done. I’ve been stanning since the debut and they never once disappointed me, they always change sounds and explore with their b-sides, this album is a no skip for sure. Sacrifice is amazing and the mv made it even better

I know a really good theory So basically sunoo is the Angel and ni-ki is his protecter, and the other members want to go into a portal but they need to cut out Sunoos wings and heart ,and Jake did that ,and you can see that one part were Jake and Niki are at dinner and then, Jake tied Niki up so he can steal Sunoos wings and heart,and Niki can’t save him ,and one of Sunoos line he says ,,the lie that broke my wings’’.Sunoos basically saying that VILLIANS ARENT BORN THEY ARE MADE

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Wow what an MV. Talk about images. Very pretty and cool. They all sounded good. I was not sure if i liked the song on my 1st listen. After 6 relistens i like it now =0p. Had to get used to the new rhythm. Great visuals. I was thinking the white wings and white clothes represent innocence and that was lost because they wore black later on and the wongs turned black. Also, Ni-ki and Heesung were wearing priest clothes.It might have significance. Shrugs. I have not read the webtoon yet but plan too. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army 💟 @MrsWitwer said on 6/8/23 I decided to rewatch the mv without the subs (and without thinking of the webtoon either), just to take in the visual storytelling. Overall the storyline looks like at one time they were at the highest state of perfection and even though that state ends up getting flawed, they still wonder if they deserve salvation/paradise. The highest state of perfection would be represented by white wings and from here we can see that white is purity/perfection and black is impurity/imperfection. Taking in consideration at least the title of the song - Sacrifice, I can assume that they could have been sacrificing, not themselves, but their purity (hence the black feathers, stains, black heart) for a greater good. And even going up the stairs, isn't a regular walk up but actually crawling. Crawling suggests humbleness but also it gives a sense of - I want to be saved but do I really deserve this or am I worthy enough? I'll also add one bit about the lyrics - the river Lethe that is represented throughout the video. The River Lethe is a part of Greek mythology where it was one of the five rivers of the underworld and if someone drank from it, they would forget completely. Lethe and its water is represented by an actual river, a cup with liquid and even a table that's literally filled with water. The sacrifice itself seemed to come from actually drinking the water from Lethe and forgetting who they were before. But as memories were returning to them, they wanted to get back to where they were originally were. @dummy5499 said on 6/8/23 Yes we believe that they were fallen angels before being vampires . Just like in the webtoon.
