Great video, you have a really wonderful way of explaining processes on ECW server. I'm getting back into it now as I had no idea of how this credit system worked! I don't own any of the modules for credit purchases but now I know I can donate ... thats very different.

Tried the server a few times, it’s nothing but red CAP farming A-10’s. The Red fighters outweigh the Bulefor and you can hardly get off the base before being jumped. It is fun when you can get in a mission but most of the time it’s unplayable if you are trying to ground attack. Lots of potential but it’s too unbalanced most of the time. Just my thoughts

Server can be very imbalanced at times, and I do wish there was some sort of insentive against piling on one side. It does vary depending on the time of day. Ground attack is much easier when it's quiet, much harder during peak times. Only other suggestion is find folk to fly with. A few coordinated players in A10 can really hurt enemy CAP

The A-10 can definitely fight back hard, if you fly super low, the jets cant jet a good shot at you, A-10 has a very small heat signature and a ton of flares. Additionally you can out turn pretty much everything and it has the maverick missiles which are fire and forget long range missiles. Very OP and can be used to take out SAMs or even helicopters.

Spotting in 2.9 is much better for 4k resolution, maybe a bit better at 1440p, worse at 1080p

Every other plane on the server? On blue that's: F86 Saber, Viggen, F5, A10, A4, Huey, Gazelle. On red: Mig-15, Mig-19, Mig-21, Su-25, Mirage F-1 CE, Hind, Hip. Probably something I'm forgetting but that's most of them at least

what maps do I need to purchase for the sever?

It currently rotates between Caucasus (free) and Syria (paid). But when the F-4 launches, they are planning on also adding Persian Gulf. So if you just have Cauc, then you can play about every other week right now. Ideally Syria and PG if you want to ensure you can play anytime

Ask Enigma, but I think it's because both the apache and Ka-50 are too modern for either the 60s or 70s settings

Too bad that the tomcat is the only module that I have and is allowed on that server... The only thing I can do is use the A4 which is not a fun module to fly imo and even if I push myself to fly that thing, I need to destroy 50 ground units with it to be able to spawn the tomcat which is also handicaped by the server... GG

Yes. You need to deposit the pilots back, but you get credits for them now

Are you running the Open Beta?

@@Dr_Jebus as far as i know, the open beta and the stable release are merged, but no, im running DCS World - Steam Edition

@@iPerso576 if they're merged, then I'm not sure why they wouldn't be showing. Sometimes takes a couple of refreshes to make sure it's detected. If you're getting the other major servers in your list such as Growling Sidewinders, then it should be there. During the weekend, it will be near the top of the active players ordering

@@iPerso576 There is only one server. It rotates between Syria and Caucusus each time a campaign ends.
