Yes parking is a problem , it is not for non residents.. so no reason to go there .. You will be worry all the time if you have a car

But that is what makes Manchester-By-The-Sea such a treasure: it doesn't allow for a DELUGE of tourists. Just enough tourists, but not overrun like many other SPOILED locations. Manchester's village is also quaint, and again, NOT OVERRUN WITH TOURISTS. So it's a GREAT, GREAT place for the locals who live there.

@@mikes3827 I agree with you Mike it is a great place for locals. I have visited but could not place to park a car anywhere in 10mile radius or risk being towed away- so how can people be friendly and call it a great place. Yes it looks like a fairyland- all the best to you

@@DeepakSharma-sp8cr To be honest, I don't think Manchester-By-The-Sea's founding fathers planned the area to be limited to tourists. The geographic limitations are responsible for that, IMO. For example, Manchester's main beach, Singing Beach, is a relatively small beach. Just how it is. Not sure if you've been to nearby Ipswich, but that seaside town you might find more accommodating, and the town's main beach (Crane Beach) is much nicer than what Manchester can offer, and parking isn't a problem in Ipswich.

@@mikes3827 thanks Mike for Ipswich I will visit that, though I liked M.by Sea - just that people are not friendly and do not welcome any visitors. Singing beach is beautiful as well. Ipswich - sure I will visit this please BTW do you live in M by Sea?

@@DeepakSharma-sp8cr No, I don't live there, but my ex-GF did, so I spent a lot of time there. Beautiful place. Enjoy your visit to Ipswich, as Crane Beach is far superior in size, shape and availability vs. anything Manchester offers.
