When Mice On Venus started playing, I actually cried while having flashbacks of the fun times I had with my cousins when they were visiting (I was the only cousin who had x-box). And now, everytime they come, we still play, because minecraft is a game that we all have good memories of and that really makes you enjoy the time spent on it. I remember when we were always playing "who will get the diamonds first", but now I´m just glad we three can play all together again. These videos should really reach more people, because I think this is great advice, motivation and a bit of peace in a society where you can´t say anything without getting canceled or someone writing something like "🤓" and "who asked" in the replies. I really appreciate you have the motivation and that you find some time in your life to do these vids, keep this great work up!

The game started to get boring and we all just kind of stopped playing. This is just what I need to hear. I don't want to keep waiting for the "good opportunities" to come by in pursuit of chasing more and better things. You're right that it can be pretty mentally taxing when you're constantly trying to gain more things, and I realised that I really don't need to be chasing things all the time but to also slow down a little in my life. If I have to sacrifice my own wellbeing just to get something I desire, is it really worth it? As much as it's easy to tell myself these things, it's difficult to unlearn this mindset which we are basically forced to adopt. It goes without saying that the end goal is not the most important thing to worry about, but rather celebrating the small achievements we make everyday. I haven't been able to truly step back and enjoy things in my life as my problems and stresses kinda robbed me of this precious time and happiness. I know for a fact that in the future I would not like to worry myself as much as I did in the past. Thank you so much for making this video :) All the best to you!

Hi! I'm not the type of person who comments on KZbin videos, but I just felt like I had to leave one on yours. So this is actually something a friend and I were talking about a while ago. We decided to rewatch Soul together a month ago, and that movie has pretty much the same message you were sharing with us: Don't let life's moments pass you by as you work towards your dreams. And I hope this resonates with anyone who may come across this comment under your video: You can do things for the sake of enjoying them. It's good to work towards a goal or work to become better, but just doing something for the joy of doing it is enough. I've gotta share this video with my friend, I think he would appreciate your video as much as I did :)

Just came across this and I could not agree with it more. I just finished uploading the final video of my base Minecraft Survival Series, and I couldn't have been more happy with the time I took to layout the series of 10 videos. I was never in it for the money or fame, all this just came out of curiosity of learning how to work with Premier Pro and how to enjoy Minecraft again. Did I achieve that? Hell yea. Got more familiar and enjoyed the editing and planning process with Premier after every video, and have enjoyed Minecraft more than ever. These kinds of experiences are never about the destination or how fast you want to make it, but rather enjoying the journey while you are in it. Very good video to remind us all to enjoy the gift of today, that's why it's called the present.

The phrase “Enjoy the Journey, not the destination”, is from an Ancient Greek philosopher I can’t remember the name, but I can remember the Impact of the phrase. Learning to enjoy the journey myself, it can be easy to fixate on goals and the future and it’s important to do that but you definitely have to be present for life to have true meaning. For me personally I’ve had experiences with psychedelics that really opened my eyes, made me seriously face my mortality, appreciate how small my problems are in the grand scheme of things and showed me that love is the most important thing in life whether it’s having a positive impact on the world around you with love or loving yourself and being more appreciative in life. That along with meditation and being out in nature more has really made me appreciate life a lot more. I recognise I still have a long way to go, but before I started this journey to try and better my life and myself as a person, I was constantly suicidal and my depression was truly crippling. Now I know things don’t have to be so negative and that we really all have the power within ourselves to make the right changes, and one day I hope to get far enough in my journey that I can take a look back at how I was to how I am and just feel great about my life and be content. I think one of the issues with our society is our goal in life is to be happy, and yet happiness is a fleeting emotion as with any other, true meaning comes from contentment and learning to be present and to help others on their paths whenever the opportunity arrises. This kind of content is very positive and valuable, wishing you the best brother
@flowstatevideo Жыл бұрын
Wow, thank you Levi. I really appreciate you sharing your story. Some of my friends have tried psychadelics too and they've talked about changing their perspective too. That must be quite an experience, I've never tried it. But you're certainly right about contentment being a source of happiness, if you're content with yourself and what you're doing with your life, you're doing it well man. Appreciate your comment, I really do.

Hey man, I just want to thank you for your content. I have so much to say that I can't even put it in words so... I wanted to thank you very very much for what you've done for us. I appreciate you and your content. Keep going and rise even higher. ^^ And here is a quote of mine since you like that kind of stuff, I thought maybe you like mine too: "Always look forward, never look back into the shadows".

It seems like we share a lot in common, so I'm gonna throw something out there for you that I enjoy a lot. If you are interested in learning about philosophy, you should check out Taoism. A large part of it is about getting into a "flowstate" called wu-wei and being present in the moment at all times, enjoying every little detail of whatever you're doing. It's pretty approachable if you know where to look. I recommend the Taoist subreddit, the George Thompson KZbin channel, and if you're into podcasts the "What's this Tao all about?' podcast. Those are where I started my journey.

there was a comment saying you are basically a game therapist it really more than that at least to me , makes you take a brake and listen to someone that knows what is he saying
