In short: 95oct is fine. 97+ is recommended but not essential. Owners manual spec below... Recommended fuel grade BMW recommends AKI 93. Minimum fuel grade BMW recommends AKI 91. If you use gasoline with this minimum AKI Rating, the engine may produce knocking sounds when starting at high external temperatures. This has no effect on the engine life.

@@EubanksDVDs quick question do you get lot break dust and what's the difference between the red calipers and the blue calipers on the M2?

What tyres are on yours 4S? I got Pirelli p zero and at 4mm all around only done 8k in 10 months. Coming from a Mk3 Focus RS this first winter in my M2 has been interesting to say the least. The AWD version is out late '26 I believe so may change at that point or move on to something else. I've got the buckets & track pack so a stint at Brands gave me more confidence in the car. Agree even though you turn the lane control off it still doesn't feel like fully off, so can see what Chris Harris meant now. I only ever stick premium fuel in, yes more expensive I find that I get a few more miles so sort of evens out. Don't worry about mixing fuel as the ECU accounts for any fuel changes

I've got the Michelin factory tyres. Ok to mix no problem if I can't get higher octane? ⛽️
