Jungle Bells looks like a lot of fun! The Los Angeles Zoo has Animals Aglow, but it's a separate ticketed event that requires reentry at night. Griffith Park has a train ride very similar to the one you took in Balboa Park. Happy Holidays!

Wish I was there. Just so I can see it in person. Oregon zoo has zoo lights. It's a walk through the whole zoo. They also have drive-through on selective nights. Are parking lot is so small. You have to arrive at noon just to get a parking spot. Which I have done. That a big downfall. But still lots of fun.

im from san diego and i hardly go to the zoo😂😂😂 but this might have convinced me to go

You should consider an annual pass. It’s pretty affordable. If you visit just twice it pays for it, and every other visit after that is icing on the cake. We like to go there just for walks sometimes.

Do it, its such a fun time. If you can do zoo stuff in the afternoon then the lights at night, its a full day of fun
