Cody, may I suggest getting a RØDE videomic for your camera? They have amazing audio quality. It catches the echo super well. I just ordered a VideoMic Me-L for my iPhone .

Seems like the more sunset sky helps color look more accurate than usual. Sunset mode is usually better than night for filming lights w short (normal) exposure.

In my experience, it's 4 to 6 days. In the case of 6 days there may be fewer of actual shooting. There might be an unofficial after-day without shooting unless you count shooting the breeze.
