Beautiful. Could you show how to sketch children playing in a swimming pool/water space? Children are challenging to paint :) and the light and optical illusion of water shortening of the sunken body

Hi Mr Yong Chen! I am greatly and positively inspired by your nice presentation. I notice that you normally do not moisten the paper before applying watercolor. Would it make a substantial difference working on most paper? Would it not soften the painting? Plse advise. Thank you in advance!

Wah...this is HARD. It's hard for me to keep up with you mixing colors and changing colors and intensities, even when I pause the video. Mine was a mess, but at least I have a first attempt done. So ugly. My wine glass came out great the first time. I wonder why the dif. i also got your 2 blues mixed up a lot. And your mixing area is always neat and you always have the right density of paint - mine is a giant mess and I struggle with color and density of paint. Also, I could not find a "blue-green" so I used Prussian but I am having a lot of trouble getting the greys right in all my attempts at your paintings. When you use masking paint and toothbrush, I had trouble telling how much you used. When I took mine off it was not enough at all. Etc. Maybe I'll try it again some time but I hate my painting.

Now it’s been a couple of hours. I have it propped up. When I look at it from across the room, it looks amazing! I can see waves violently crashing on boulders in a raging sea. It keeps herring better. Maybe it won’t look as good close up, but from a short distance, it’s mesmerizing. I can see the water churning. I see foam exploding up. This happens 50% of the time with my paintings. I don’t understand it.
