I was a little disappointed when I found out that NMIXX didn't appear on the "It's Live" show as usual when they comeback. It turns out NMIXX replaced it with something more spectacular. Appearing as the first girl group on Tiny Desk Korea is a proud achievement.

Red velvet might also be but only wendy and seulgi can compete but as a group i dont think so… so he/she is right as for a group technique wise NMIXX is by far or atleast above 3rd, 4th and 5th gen AS A GROUP. Some professional singers and vocal coaches considered them as SVT of 4th gen

Its because majority of kpop stans are into easy sounding songs & nmixx doesn't fully cater to what majority of kpop stans want so they ignore them. They would rather stan & praise the groups who can't even manage to give the proper bare minimum but when a group that is actually talented in every aspect of being an idol exists, they shamed & downplayed for their skills. With that said, nmixx is now growing steadily even the quality of their music. I just hop that their division would focus on giving nmixx the best quality of composers & producers in order for their music & concept to be recognized more in the music & entertainment industry.

this def has post production editing but its very minimal. if this didnt have post production things, the instruments would not sound this balanced. the sound editing here is mostly just balancing the mixing. that's why it sounds as good as it is (besides the fact the band and vocalists sound amazing)

Here's the scary thing, they are all between 18-21 years old. They're not even close to how good they can be. They might not be as popular as whatever the trending popular group is at any given time, but for sure they will be known as a group that may be the very best at what they do, which is performing at the highest level of their profession. This performance shows it. In an industry full of imitation and duplication, no one dares to consistently do what NMIXX excels at. And they also can do things like this 15:20, and pull it off.

They are one of the few groups who are constantly working on their craft. Jiwoo (long blonde hair) was recently on a show called Lee Mujin Service and mentioned that she was working with a vocal coach to improve her skills. I recommend that show too. Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae and Jiwoo have appeared. It’s a show based on vocals

I just did a blog about this. I love BTS but am not a big fan of KPOP in general, and certainly not of female KPOP groups. Not saying that they're not talented, but I find the music lacking. However, I was turned on to NMIXX this week and when I saw this performance I was simply wowed. They are different, refreshing, talented and to me, it strays away from traditional KPOP. I want more with a live band because they complement each other so well.

해원 컴백에 맞춰 행담곰은 잠시 넣어두고 미친 미모를 뽐낸 오리다. 요즘 틀면 나오는 그 '잘 나가는 하이텐션 방송 해원(like 워크돌 해원)' 모드 아니고, 엔써가 사랑하는 청순 도도 차분, 거기에 약간의 위트가 뿌려진 '엔믹스 해원(a.k.a 월간 오해원)' 모드여서 진성 엔써 입장으로서는 더 더 좋았음. 게다가 진행 잘해, 예뻐, 노래는 말해 무엇. 믿고 듣는 엔믹스 메보좌. 중간중간 멘트 때도 그렇고 노래할 때도 그렇고 리더의 면모를 느낄 수 있는 포인트가 많았고, 멤버들도 그런 리더를 많이 의지하고 있음이 느껴져서 멋있기도, 대견하기도, 더 응원하기도 했음. 11:55 "행담곰은 라이브를 찢어." 규진 끼쟁이. 규진이 원샷잡는 카메라 바로 뒤에서 봤었는데, 실제로 보는 규진이의 넘치는 끼가 2:32 뷰파인더에 다 담기지가 않더라. 아깽이, 아니 아가 구미호와 눈이 마주칠 때 정신을 바짝 차리지 않으면 순간 반해버리니 주의 요망. 규진 단독캠 영상이 필요할 정도로 본인 파트 아닌 부분에서도 완벽한 무대매너를 보여줌. 사실 난 이미 홀렸음. (길거리 캐스팅 인정) 개인적으로 이번 타데코 최대 수혜자는 배이라고 생각하는데, 음방은 아무래도 격한 움직임이 있기에 배이의 진성과 가성을 넘나드는 간드러지는 보컬을 100% 뽐내기 어려웠다면, 8:37 타데코는 배이의 평소 보컬 실력을 완전히 뽑아낼 수 있는 무대 세팅이자 편곡이었다고 느꼈음. 배이의 보컬을 칭찬하지 않을 수 없던 무대. 넘나 귀한 재-즈 아이돌. 설윤 외모로 할 수 있는 칭찬은 다 해도 됨 (ex. 예쁘다, 얼굴 작다, 날씬하다, 키 크다, 빛이 난다 등). 모든 말이 전혀 오바가 아니게 됨. 다 사실임. 정말임. 쓰면서도 안 믿김. 예전에 “관상에 노래가 없는데 노래를 너무 잘한다”는 댓글 웃겼는데, 실제로 보면 애초에 사람 아니고 Ai라서 노래 기능도 입력하면 잘할 것 같은 느낌임. 나와 다른 종족이 분명함. 1:59 리무진서비스 때 이무진의 말처럼 고음 때 받쳐주는 피지컬이 미쳤음. 피지컬 + 노력 = 설윤. 체했을 때 설윤 노래 들으면 됨. (편-안) 발성 및 성량 넘버 원. 지우 20:33 실로폰(글로켄슈필) 치는 지우는 세상에서 가장 귀엽다. 자기소개 할 때 슬라이딩한 거 넘 귀여워서 육성으로 빵 터짐. 너무 예쁜 햄토리 같음. 이번 머리 너무 잘어울리고, 이번 컴백 헤메코와 특히 금발 때문인지 어른미가 한 스푼 추가된 느낌. "귀여워... 예뻐... 귀여워..." 의 무한 반복. CD를 삼킨 엔믹스. 그중에서도 지우는 그냥 음원이랑 똑-같다. 톤 자체가 사기. 본인 파트는 당연, 중간 중간 더블링까지도 CD 그 자체. 인이어 없이 더블링 볼륨 조절이 완벽하게 된다는 건 타고난 재능이라고 봐야할듯. 현장에서 들은 귀가 인정함. 그리고 매번 수록곡을 할 수 있는 무대는 우리 지우의 보컬도 충분하(고도 남는)다는 걸 보여주는 고마운 기회임. 릴리 릴-황. 더이상 무슨 말이 필요할까. 보컬에서 개그, 이제는 비주얼까지 황제의 자리에 오르셨다. 평상시는 귀여운 이미지지만 실제로는 정말 입체적인 마스크에, 코앞에 있어도 인사조차 쉽게 못 걸겠는 고급스러움까지 있음. 거기에 찰떡인 스모키까지 하면... 하지만 입만 열면 순수 그 자체. "성인이 이렇게 순수할 수 있을까?" = 릴리 릴리의 라이브를 들으면 엔믹스의 ‘믹스팝’에서 ‘팝’을 릴리가 맡은 건가 싶은 생각이 듦. 장르가 바뀜. 케이팝이 아니라 본토 팝이 됨. 이번 앨범엔 (이전 앨범과 비교해서는) 하이 노트가 없는데, 오히려 그 점이 릴리의 보컬리스트적인 면모를 오롯이 음미할 수 있게 해준 것 같았음. 특히 Love Is Lonely에서 25:27 릴리의 마지막 사비를 들을 땐 나 같은 영화 한 편을 본 것 같은 느낌이었음. 진짜 너무 행복했던 무대였고, 완벽한 무대였고 음원보다도 더 좋은 부분도 있는 무대였음. 유튜브 뮤직으로 계속 틀어놓고 듣고 싶어서 너무 너무 기다렸음. 이거 들으려고 U+티비로 화면 계속 켜 놓고 있어서 핸드폰 발열 엄청 심해졌음. 이젠 유튜브 프리미엄으로 편하게 본다. 오늘부터 이 영상 무한재생이다. + 타데코 이벤트 댓글이 달리기 전에 댓글을 달아서 이벤트가 있는지도 몰랐는데, 엔써분들께서 대댓글로 알려주셔서 급하게 수정합니다! 유튜브에 영상 업로드 되면 이때의 감동을 그대로 함께 나누고 싶어서 다녀온 날부터 생각나는 대로 계속 메모해두었었는데, 이렇게 많은 분들이 공감해주시니 대문자 F는 이것마저도 감동이네요 흑흑... 따숩다... ++ 댓글 수정했더니 타데코가 눌러주신 댓글 좋아요가 사라져서 속상하지만 이벤트 당첨되어 싸인 포스터 꼭 받고 싶어서 수정 누르고 타임코드 작성했습니다! 우리 짱믹스 초대해주셔서 이런 좋은 무대 만들어주신 타데코 너무 감사합니다!!

I was very impressed, but when they said they were not using in-ear monitors, I was much more impressed. That means they were hearing all the instrumentation behind them, which were playing chord substitutions and jazz-style harmonies, while they were singing their vocal melodies. The arrangement for Dash was particularly difficult. They didn't have a constant pitch or beat reference in their ears (no guide or click track). So they were completely relying on internal pitch and harmonizing off the instruments. That's very advanced vocal technique.

folks, this what you call pure live singing. no post vocal editing, no backtrack playing, heck they dont even put a reverb (or only slightly?) on the voices. you can see some of them straining their vocals in some parts but it's normal as 100 on point live singing performance is impossible to do. above all I applaud their bravery to do this kind of performance that we rarely see in kpop anymore.

@@udance4ever yeah, unfortunately. Most of the vids and performances that claim they publish live performances are in fact heavily edited and post produced. "It's Live" is actually quite heavy on the post production, but there are some instances wherein they either tone down on the post production or amp it up, depending on the artists who are performing. Like with NMIXX performances on IT'S LIVE their performances aren't as heavily edited as others, most of the time they do very minimal post production and focus more on sound equalization to achieve the sound aesthetic and mix based on the channel's preferences. But NMIXX's Tiny Desk Korea performance has almost no post production, no pitch correction, the editing is done to control the sound bleed from external sources. Since they are not using in ears and are solely relying on the speaker monitors, sound bleed is inevitable, therefore must be controlled via post production. But I believe that the vocals are 100% raw 👍.
