I attended Kaze's concert at Taipei Arena on November 17. It was so amazing. His voice was soft, beautiful, and powerful, and the performance was incredibly captivating. He sang, delivered an amazingly skilled piano performance, and danced with other dancers. I would love to see him perform again soon.

Even though the song has a fun and upbeat feel, it doesn't feel like something out of place in the middle of summer. I felt the same way. He was born in the rainy season and grew up in a family that ran a coffee shop. Maybe that's the influence.

I am the daughter of Mexican immigrants to Los Angeles. My uncle married a Japanese woman from Fukuoka, and they had two kids, half Japanese and half Mexican. My Auntie Sachiko taught me about Sailor Moon and anime back in the early 90s, before ya'll became obsessed.
