From my interpretation it's about someone in a mask brainwashing an innocent girl, telling her to kill the prince. When the clock strikes twelve, she stabs the prince despite falling in love with him at first sight.

for those who dont know this is what it is about "A girl (Miku) attends a ball to kill the prince (KAITO) when the clock strikes twelve, since she was handled by the fairy godmother.[1] As the girl and the prince meet, they dance together and fall in love. The girl becomes increasingly conflicted as midnight approaches, falling into a dilemma as she does not want to kill him. Eventually the girl stabs the prince when the bell rings. 'Adolescence' is the title of the song Rin and Len sang. It has the same melody, but different lyrics and a totally different meaning and plot. (which is widely believed to be about incest or some other forbidden love.) This is Cendrillion (french for Cinderella), which is a variation on the tale of Cinderella, where 'Cinderella' is brainwashed to kill the Prince at the ball.

Miku has to kill the prince (Kaito) but falls in love with him instead. She doesn't want to kill the prince anymore, but does it anyway when the clock strikes twelve, because that was the agreement (I think with the fairy/masked person) See it as Miku has both a dark and a good side. The end of the vid explains how the good side is happy to be together with Kaito untill his last moment.

Oh wow your voice is soooo beautiful! My sister can lower her voice to a masculine tone like you can, and I can only sing in a very feminine voice. I sometimes wish I can make a low masculine voice, but I'll have to deal with the feminine voice I'm stuck with forever. During the dance, she sees the clock hit twelve and thrusts the knife towards the prince's chest, but because of her feelings she got for him, she stopped herself and just barely cut his skin, She tells the prince what has happened, and they run away together to get her to safety from the stranger. End.
