Thank you, for the great video, it helps me understand the 9 traits that don’t feel true for me. I’m an INFP 9 and have always felt an abundance of feelings, thankfully my healthy 2 mom guided me to understand them. We need a video where every other number discuss how they see 9s, we clearly don’t see our own awesomeness. 😂

I know this was posted a while ago now but I’ve just discovered it. Some very interesting points…I too am an INFJ, enneagram type 9w1, Social type. I am still learning about myself, and your point on Apathy goes hand in hand with the description about us “numbing out into premature Buddha-hood” when something is painful. I frustrate my 7w6 husband no end with my lack of “get up and go” as he seems to have it by the bucket load! He’s mostly very patient with me, and is realising the more he pushes, the more I dig my heels in (like the immovable object). Lol! I don’t know about other 9’s, but something I became aware about myself, especially over the past year with COVID-19 and lockdowns, and me not being able to work, is I have pockets of energy where I get a project, then I work like a Trojan until the job is done. But most of the time, I would while away the days, looking up stuff on my phone, daydreaming, drinking tea…but then would feel an enormous sense of guilt at the end of each day because I had done nothing productive! But the more I felt I should do, the more overwhelmed I got, and the more I numbed out. It’s a viscous circle…the only thing that got me out of it was the lockdowns easing and I could go back to work - and to my old routine!

Hi Kaylee, Been searching for any positives people say about nines- and despairing as it’s all so negative. Thank you so much for this, as you have got beyond the cliches and made some helpful comments with some depth and experience behind them.

I watched season 2 of "Ultimatum" on Netflix. There's a couple named Kat and Alex and I'm pretty sure Kat is a Type 9. I think Alex initially thought about what it would be like to have a more ambitious and assertive partner but he really learns to appreciate her subtle 9 qualities.

I noticed at the beginning of your video that you shared you are INFJ 9w1. There are quite a bit of differences in Enneagram types based not only on wings and subtypes etc. but also on what their MBTI type is. Myself as a 9w8 INTP - I feel I excel and struggle in different areas because of this combination. Just a thought - thanks for the video

Hello! Yeah I think the two definitely work together. Also the subtype plays a part!

! I’m an infj 9w1 as well. Lol, are you an Aquarius too? I liked the distinction you made with regards to the language ‘strong personalities’ - It’s not a great binary. I prefer ‘subtle’.

This was a helpful video. Would you consider doing a similar video for the other numbers?

Hi there! I have a question : Is the enneagram type related to the 4 temperaments? For example: are all 9s phlegmatic? Or the 6s Melancholic? 🤔
@purplebeauty780
@purplebeauty780 3 жыл бұрын
There is correlation but correlation is not causation. Yes, there is a tendency for type 6 for melancholic, type 7 for sanguine, type 8 for choleric and type 9 for phlegmatic but it isn’t always the case.
