I first heard this being played at a friend's house by her step Dad. I was 16, and it immediately grabbed my attention. I'm now 56 and still adore it.

Way back in 1985 at primary school, we had a record player in assembly, and Mr Hart played music whilst we all arrived. This was my favourite. For some reason, today, 38 years later, I found myself humming the song, jonidea who wrote it or a name. Google listened to me humming and instantly led me here..I'm.amazed and feeling emotional, feels like im 8 years old again, starting out in life.

Absolutely. I loved this when I first heard it over 20 years on an easy listening radio station. When the radio station changed formats, I never heard it again. This was the days before the internet. I am glad that I rediscovered this song.

In the series the Life and Times of Da id Lloyd George to which Chi Mai was the theme tune when Philip Madoc who portrayed DLG walked along the Dwyfor at old age, his then surviving child Olwen Carey Rees with a tear in her eyes said Daddy in Welsh. This is truly searing and you hear the B side Come Maddelena - truly powerful.

I listened something like "ki Mai" Recently a friend in FaceBook posted it, so I realised the real Italian name , you can laugh at me ! You might find one or 2 to enjoy amongst those if you like Chi Mai.
