It looks like the rocks were like wet cement then quikly folded. The folds had to be folded after deposition, no millions of years for deposition. I propose the earth contracted to a smaller diameter from miraculous internal cooling to allow the sea to cover the mountain tops. Then after the flood the original diameter was restored causing compression of sediments as the earths radius was restored to the antedeluvian radius.

If anyone would like to go and see this, it is located in North East Utah. Daggett County. It is known as the Sheep Creek Scenic Drive. It is Located just West of the Flamming Gorge Cliffs, and South West of Manila Utah. This whole area is full of Native American Glyphs and ancient dwellings. It is probably one of the most scenic drives in the world, and that is not an overstatement. The Flamming Gorge cliffs are Massive and stand out in the area. There is a mountain called Hogsback that stands at front of the Manila valley on the West end that overshadows the whole valley it is the largest flint deposit in the world and it is huge and a wonder to see in itself. The roads in this area are very good so dont be afraid to go on a drive. It is a 3 hours drive from Salt Lake City and Manila, has food and gas so have fun.

How do you get so many rock layers after a single flood? There are a lot of floods going on in different areas in the world and I only see 1 layer of mud left behind🤔 Perhaps the explanation is in another video?
@mmaimmortals3 күн бұрын
You're talking about two different types of floods. A local flood is usually an event where a single inundation occurs and then retreats and then the flood is over. The Global Flood was a series of many large scale waves coming in and going out and coming in again. Go watch the waves at a beach and take note how many times the water comes in and goes out again.

When water recedes after a flood, normally you only see the top layer of fine sediment produced by the flood, when you look down on the residue. It's like looking at a multi layer cake before it is sliced. If you could slice down through a slab of mud from a long duration of a flood, you could see some different layers of deposits. Just like seeing 3 layers of a chocolate cake, for example. Remember, too, this flood lasted about a year. Water movement was subject to the effects of trade winds, storms and tidal actions. I don't know of any evidence that these actions ceased during that year. Thus that also affects what you see. An afternoon thunderstorm drops a lot of water in a short period of time, which usually rapidly runs off. Flash flooding arrives and leaves quickly. Thus affecting how sediments are left behind. To see a miniature version that somewhat illustrates the sediment layers is easy. Use a quart or half gallon glass jar. Fill the jar about 1/2 full of a mixture of dirt, sand, tiny pebbles, top soil (planting soil) simulating what would be carried along by flood waters. Put the lid on the jar and shake vigorously, simulating the actions of flood waters. Set the jar aside, and watch what happens after a few hours or so. You'll see layers form, as the muddy water turns clear. Hope this helps, a bit.
@mmaimmortals3 күн бұрын
@@sciencerules2825 There you go equivocating again. That's not science. Science cannot be based on logical fallacies like this. Local floods are short term, usually single inundation events. The Global Flood was a long term episodic event with an entirely different mechanism behind it. The only violation of physics that has taken place is what happens in your two imaginary models of origins: the one that suggests evolution and deep time are true, and your imaginary version of the Flood that no one believes in.

Rocks subducted deep below ground by plate tectonics become ductile and can easily bend with the heat and pressures there.
@darrisellis88103 күн бұрын
@samburns3329 If subduction was even possible for granite 20 miles thick to be subducted, then maybe. Plates tectonics is a false scientific theory taught as fact. Plates can not subduct according to the mathematics, shear, and tensil strength of solid granite and so forth. Hydroplate theory Is the correct theory we should be teaching. I'm not saying the plates don't interact, shift, or abutt and collide, creating massive earthquakes or tsunamis. I'm simply saying they don't subduct. Also if the material went into the magma chamber under the crust it would completely melt and amalgamate. It wouldn't go through one side only to push out red hot on the other side into a softened bendable product that could then easily be folded. The event that did that was of such a catastrophic nature that the heat and liquifaction of those layers in the present state at the time of the cataclysm were superheated, then violently distorted while they were above the magma chambers.

The heat and pressure explanation for bending rocks given by Sam is clearly wrong. Ductile metals leave a distinct signature in the bend when this happens. Rocks aren't ductile at all and it would be much more obvious if that were the cause. The rocks were folded during deposition in a fluidized state. They weren't folded after deposition. Even loose sediment will crack and separate if it isn't actively fluidized.

@@mmaimmortals LOL! That creationist nonsense can be demonstrated wrong with a 10 second search for *rock ductile deformation.*
@geenogee4 күн бұрын
Creationists should consider if this happened a few hundred years after the Flood rather than the end of the Flood. Almost all fossils are extinct plants and animals. It makes far more sense that these plants and animals became extinct a few hundred years after the Flood rather than during the Flood. Not all rock layers are metamorphic, but this evidence suggests metamorphism happened during uplift. This heat appears to have hardened rock layers that are not metamorphic. This also suggests that ice age features were formed catastrophically during mass extinctions when mountains were uplifted worldwide by metamorphic and volcanic events.
@mirandahotspring40194 күн бұрын
They also seem to have a problem accounting for the lack of human fossils as well. I mean the whole point of the flood was to destroy mankind and start again with one family and their pets. They claim all the fossils are from their mythical flood, so where are all the human fossils?

@stephengaddis97914 күн бұрын
No. You're mixing the fliood and conventional models. In a flood model, the fossils were covered by rapid deposition, not hundreds of years after. The fossils were in place before orogeny. Catastrphic uplift happened shortly after, or began during the flood. This would have taken place after the sediments were laid during the drainage stage, when the Earth was still catastrophically active. The fossils were already in place. Whitmore seems to be deviating a bit, by suggesting the layers are still soft. He didn't seem to be clear. I think that's why creationists are doing more grain analysis under the microscope, to see just how much metamorphosis has taken place. This will demonstrate how much evidence there is that the rock was predominately sedimentary at folding, or whether the folding is the result of heat and pressure after the layers lithified. At any rate, the catastrophe is what buried the fossils. So we wouldn't predict that the species died afterward.

Try doing this - write a sentence using only 7 words, the total number of letters must be an exact multiple of 7. Now if a = 1, b = 2, etc., the total value of your sentence must be an exact multiple of 7. That is using only 3 heptadic features. Now write a 175 (27 x 7) word essay that has over 100 heptadic features. I’ll help you get started, number of words used by a particular person, number of times a particular word is used, number of letters used, number of words used only once, total vocabulary etc. The point is that if you took one million super computers composing 400 million drafts per second attempting only 34 heptadic features, it would require 4 MILLION years to get close. That 175 word passage was found by a Harvard mathematician, in 1910, named Ivan Panin who was challenged by the NY sun to prove the veracity of the Bible. That passage is Mark 16: 9-20 It is not the only mathematical fingerprint found in the Bible, the inspired word of God, it is found throughout! The Bible has also been proven archaeologically, scientifically, historically and forensically. J. Warner Wallace, like Panin a former atheist, was a 30 year veteran cold case detective who proved forensically by using the many hostile witnesses and historical records and vast amounts of archaeological evidence sufficiently enough to convince any jury that the Bible is accurate. You do not have much time left as biblical prophecies made long ago, including things like Israel becoming a nation in a day, May 18, 1948, are coming to fruition.
