Alan, feels really spacious, but I’m not sure how usable the storage at the rear is - you’ve got to have very long arms to reach into the back corners and the netting on the back wall looks like I’d need a ladder to reach it!

Hi Alan, This is a good layout, but the backrests on half of the lounge seats are too low to be comfortable. Why is the kitchen work top split into two different heights? Also, this is a 7 meters long by 2.35 meters wide van, so the space inside is hardly surprising. But: "enormous rear bathroom" your title says. Where are you looking?

What would you suggest to buy that is comfortable, everything seems to have the dinky little dinette with forward facing seats and no where to relax. We have hired 2 vans so far and are in the market to buy. Looking forward to your suggestion, we need separate shower and wash room, lounge that you can relax and a double bed. 2 people. All in 7m or less.

I would suggest that you continue renting until you find the layout that suits you - double bed could be either widthwise, lengthwise or queen bed. There are plenty of vans with separate shower. Within seven metres there is a lot of choice, it depends on your budget.

@@VanlifewithAlan it's the lounge that let's them down, the 2 seats facing forward are like spanish dining chairs for comfort lol so far we keep coming back to the challenger 260 but can't find one to rent for a week

@@VanlifewithAlan it's mad that the manufacturers keep using the generic 2 face forward dinettes, they need to up their comfort game and have designers that actually use campervans and motorhomes. They should design a prototype and then send the designer out in it for a week and ask them if it was comfortable to use for a week or more

The Queen Mary has more space as well, but since the Autotrail is nearly 2m longer than this van neither is a valid comparison!
