This is AMAZING! Spectacular surf caused by a strong storm in the Gulf of Alaska.

This is one of my favorite spots to watch the surf on the whole Sonoma coast. I have been amazed at the size if the waves but these dwarf anything I have ever seen there. Amazing and terrifying!!!

Yes, it is a special place esp. when the surf is up like this. Sometimes you can even feel a bit of impact tremor depending on the way the swells fall and slam into the rocks. I hope we get more this season!

The larger swells were well over 20ft. and some standouts near 30.
