That's Pretty Cool Ed! Been waiting for the Pondemonium videos! Question, Could you use Milk Crates instead of Aqua blocks for the reservoir? I mean if you were going to DIY the heck out of it lol
@TheBarefootedGardener5 жыл бұрын
Shawn Baker Milk crates aren’t nearly as strong as Aqua Blocks, so when you put stone on top, there is a good chance it’ll cave in. But I’ll let Ed say his piece also.

For patio/drive application... What size gravel would you backfill with vs. the sand? 1.5"?

Great video. I'm in the "Construction" section of your beginners courses. Ironically enough, "Building a pondless waterfall" is my next chapter. On a seperate note, I am confused on calculating gallons in a pond. How is the average depth of a 2 ' pond only 1' in the equation? Love your content. Thank you for your time.
@donniebeck61125 жыл бұрын
Sean Odonnell when you are building a 2 foot depth Aquascape ecosystem pond only a small part of it is actually 2 feet in depth. Therefore the overall greater average is 1 foot in depth.
