He gave birth to 5 sons. Wakooli chief of Bukooli, Zibondo chief of Bulamogi, Tabingwa Chief of Luuka, Ngobi chief of Kigulu and Kitimbo chief of Bugabula. Its from those chiefdoms that the Kyabazinga of Busoga is selected. The kyabazinga is a creation of Colonialists. Otherwise the Basoga originally were governed under chiefdoms. I think and I am sure all that research has been done by those in charge of the kingdom. They have lawyers etc. They would not arrange a legal marriage before confirming the Kyabazinga is not legally married elsewhere. If he was he would have to go through a divorce but this woman seems to think she’s been with him for long and therefore claims the ‘wife’ title. It’s common in Ugandan culture for women to call themselves wives even when they’ve not been married legally. You can’t call yourself Mrs unless you have married and taken vows through the right channels.
