At first I was a little disappointed that this wasn't a game that we the fans could play but now I think I actually like this more than a game. A long-term roleplaying minecraft server with a custom mod list and adaptable story featuring the entirety of EN? Supported by animations and songs? Count me in! I am incredibly excited to see how this pans out!

I’m not upset with you specifically, but I need to get this out there because apparently there’s a good bit of disappointment out there: no reasonable interpretation of the initial announcement, if you ask me, could have been that a game was coming. Yes, they referred to a “sandbox game” which I didn’t think would be Minecraft, but they also referred to the girls, rather than the fans, driving the story, and the initial announcement mentions, if I recall correctly, streams, songs, and manga; no games. It was clear to me from the start that, whatever this was, it was the girls’ adventure to be watched.

The “sandbox game format” phrase was vague enough that it’s understandable why some people would assume it might be a game. I do agree, though, that the negativity from some of those people is unwarranted and frankly overblown.

This was beyond what I was expecting ! I really love this project because of how it will bring together all of the HoloEN lore, I always thought the HoloEN lore is so interesting, mainly because of the fan made animations, this will bring new light into it ! So much to look forward too !

​@@MrTrebleCleff There's really no complications there. Cover owns the likeness and rights to the characters and royalties are negotiated ahead of time in most development cycles. You also could do a game in a season format for something the size of EN, so you can drop and add characters as needed. Graduation is the least of things to complicate a project.
