If you are looking to continue in taxation, EA is enough. If you are looking to switch CMA USA and CPA is better.

It is limited. But if you are going for US Taxation specialization, EA is cheaper than CPA and relatively easy to clear. CPAs working in taxation also see limited growth in their career as India only has outsourcing work. High value work is kept back in US. @@Sutrave_Akash

6-7 lakhs is the avg package for EA, even without clearing a single paper having only concept knowledge of EA are getting 5.5 ctc...My friends who cleared CMA USA are still struggling to get job where EA's are placed very quickly... I felt this video is somewhat baised😅

No, 6-7 LPA is not average for EA freshers. It is on the high end. We use "average for freshers," which means actual can be more or less. Even in our CMA USA videos, we use average. As for your logic, many CAs, ACCAs, & CPAs are also struggling for jobs. That doesn't make them bad courses.

@Mhmmdrashid Hard to say. Big 4 are not good pay masters. In my research, I talked to many EA working professionals and did not come across any fresher who got that much in Big 4 or otherwise. With 2 years experience, 8-10 LPA is possible.

No way. No benefit of doing both. Better to focus on CFA only if your interest is finance. If you are looking to pursue a short term course before CFA, then CMA USA will better suit as it covers performance management and corporate finance. Or MBA with CFA.

It is very much possible that different courses in different field may give similar salary packages. For example MBA in different specializations may give similar packages or CA, CPA and ACCA gets similar packages etc. Please state your confusion clearly if you are not satisfied with this explaination , so that I could help you better.

Depends upon a lot of things, the employer size, job profile, city, negotiation skills and ability to crack interview. However, in a tier 1 city you can expect a minimum of 4.5 lakh.

You can but no use of doing that. If you are ACCA you will look into UK taxation. And if you are EA, doing ACCA you should seek profiles other than US taxation for better salary. Combination of EA and ACCA doesn't make any sense.

It's highly unlikely. They outsource this work in India to save cost. Why would they hire EAs from India at higher pay? EAs working for the US government have to be US citizens. So if you are already a US citizen, you may have a chance.
