Yes you make a great point and that's why people show Russian Adam trust and loyalty and blind buy his stuff as soon as it comes out because on the secondary market forget it your gonna pay.... But I've looked into Ensar a bit. And while I agree his pricing is very high ... as I understand it he's using some of the most rare and high quality materials of any house out there. And I've seen many big players in the space admit as much...

Yeah I can tell the quality is there ... would love to have a full bottle of EO1 but I refuse to pay those prices 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@@RamseytheRam yea EO1 I'd love to have also. I think the EDP is attainable. I have a large decant of Homeros by Ensar and it's amazing if you ever run across a decant of that. And I'd love to sample his Crime and Punishment also.

Totally agree with Jonathan, Ensar's compositions are very very pricey! But it is also true he uses the best and rarest ingredients out there as per my experience! If you talk about natural deer musk, Areej and Bortnikoff uses only Siberian deer musk, whereas Ensar uses Siberian, Kashmiri, Tibetan, Mongolian and already extinct Tonkin deer musk! Scent profile of each of these musks are different! Same we can say about his Oud oils as well! Ensar Oud is my favourite house in the world, but it sure made me porer financially! Begin an average guy from Bangladesh I have collected 14 PPs and 5 attars from Ensar Oud, only good thing is my wife has no clue about their prices!! 😅

When you get into Eo perfumes, your nose must adjust to its blends. Many dont like it at first, but after 2-3 weeks you will start enjoying it. You got to be patient with Eo blends not like areej.

And i must add, Eo uses the most amount of musk than any brand in my opinion. Pure parfumes in Eo are topped of with musk or ambergris tinctures, Not just perfumers Alcohol.

I have to admit I am am liking it more & more as the day has gone on... I think I might be able to grow to like this but if I spend a grand I think I want something that is a pure love ... maybe Tigerlust just suits my nose better🤷‍♂️ Or maybe I am more of an EO1 guy🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Hi Ram! I completely understand (and went through a similar journey of discovery with Areej). Your Ensar, Bortnikov, etc. videos are Super Super valuable to me (probably many others) because it helps me to figure out where to spend precious time & funds. I believe Tibetan Musk PP is his best musk composition followed by Tonkin musk PP. EO2 Kashmir I have, it took me some time to really like it!! EO1 Assam, Irish Ghalia, Black Chango, Tigerwood Royal, Maroke Maharaja...these are few I request you to try! Best wishes...

Thanks for the recs Ali... I am enjoying this fragrance more and more as the day has progessed and I really like the musk that has emergered... so I guess you could say I was a little to hard on the frag in the video... I still much prefer tigerlust tbh

I like Oud Picante, but I really didn't care for EO No.2 Pure Parfum. I have a bottleof Ensar No 1, first edition. I do like that one very much. Ensar's Oud oils and attars can be had for good value. I have Oeilleres. It has a cumin note that is used that's somewhat similar. I like this one better than EO No.2 Pure Parfum. Now it's not the same, but that opening texture is somewhat similar. When you get the chance, I would like to know what you think about Anima Dulcis by Arquiste. It's supposed to be like a Mexican village making their breakfast I believe. There's smoked chili's in it. Not sure if Arqusite is making it anymore. It's different, but much easier than Oud Picante. I figured one decant I would like, Le Lion. I haven't smelled that one yet. I look through you collection again and come up with a couple more. Wait though till I send you the next pacakge though. The Sultan Pasha's are in these little weird tiny vials that have tops attached. Plus I found the Fort&Manly set. Lots of juice in some of them. There's 7 spray decants. I think they are 2.5's. Plus I have a number of sprayers from IndieScents and the decant shop. You haven't sampled much from Annicks Gutal's house, correct?

I would love to try more from the house but I think his prices are just out of my budget at the minute... i will enjoy what I have been blessed with for now.... would love a bottle of EO1 but they are impossible to find for a "deal" 😂😂😂 Thanks for the recs

Hey Rams,ya kinda called it as it is to be honest,Ensar is above all the best sales pitch guy in the fragrance game and I gotta hand it to him ,but yes he uses the best of the best oils in the Oud realm,which therefore your wallet will hurt to all hell. I did purchase bout 7 offerings all 30 ml and chose those which I figured would be all different as they covered a diverse main note,distinct from one another plus back when I got them in fairly quick succession and 3 on sale , I feel I did ok on pricing,today however yeah holy shit they are quite the bump up ,by quite a lot , pushed them out of my to buy houses list simply not sustainable on a financial level for me .Adam is king of the mountain on every level no question. However EO is a force to contend with and ,well I won’t say never again ,he is a Oud master and has sources all over for the rarest or oils. Anyways I’m attempting to cut back dramatically on my purchases, hmm that said took a punt on a never heard of vintage today Adam Bruyege Parfume pour Homme 50ml edt pre barcode 86 euro includes tax and shipping,not a clue have I on anything about it lol it just called out to me from nowhere haha ,cheers great insight and review,I do like my Tygerlust and crime and punishment French style old school and definitely now overpriced 👍🙏✌️

I believe Ensar is if not all natural very close. So there none of the blending aroma chemicals the give extention through a formulation. That’s my thought on why the composition feels so crowded. His stuff is over priced for sure but he dose use very rare materials.. but wait so dose Russia Adam.. he’s also Muslim like Russia Adam soo. I thought you’d love this. I think EO 1 is more your speed there a ton of deer musk in it.

Yeah from reading the notes I think EO1 is more my speed for sure... there is a beautiful musk note in the late late dry down of EO2 but honestly I like the way the way Russian Adam did Siberian Musk better 🤷‍♂️ Again this is an early impression and I am enjoying it slighly more now than early in the day ... but I just dont like this Oud Picante / EO2 Style I guess ... if I could get a deal on EO1 i would blind buy it... but no one gives you a deal on Ensar Oud frags I have learned 😂😂😂

EO1 and it’s progenitor, Sultan Leather attar are his best bar none for me. I can wear it out anytime. Fantastic oud leather. EO2 is more of a French vintage animalic that I can enjoy at home. My other favorite is Borneo Zen which is deer, jasmine, and Sandal.

Hey Ramsey, now I know why I related to you beyond your knowledge and descriptions of perfumes, but we both experienced the priests wafting the incense throughout the church during Tenebrae in the season of Lent. It was the very best part of Lent and perhaps the reason I started into my sinful and costly obsession of fragrances.

For Papua Sandalwood the smell profile is actually kinda different with other sandalwood I’ve tried so far. It has floral quality to it and it has guava smell with nuance of camphor and turpentine. And for Timor Sandalwood, the fine one smells not far from Mysore Sandalwood. Less creamy but more spicy and more nutty

I have never tried Ensar Oud perfumes because they are beyond my perfume budget. I am sure they are beautiful but unaffordable for me.

Yes you are spot on ... however I have my daughter which is priceless & this whole turn of events put me on the path I am on now and I couldnt be happier.... even if they take every penny from me I will still be happy Money comes and goes but I found something worth more than all the money in the world And I wouldnt have found it without going through what I am going through I could have the least amout of goods or $ in the bank and actually be the happiest I have ever been ... its crazy how that works The less I have the more I gain 🧠🤯

Yes the first 2 to 3 hours are rough but to be honest i am really enjoying the late dry down... this is a very loooong fragrance... I am enjoying it much more than the video made it seem.. I still dont think I would pay a grand for it but I would wear it 😊

@@RamseytheRam I get it and I am trying to get into the various fragrance aspects, but when I go back to my 300 + collection and I put my nose on Givenchy Gentleman, and Hugo Boss original vintage, my Kouros and Antaeus vintage, I know have arrived. I have reached my future by revisiting the past. By the way, I was in my teens in the 80’s, so you can only imagine. The women used to love that stuff on us and request it, because we smelled like alpha males .
