This is my 2nd favorite Malaysian distillation from Ensar. My favorite Malaysian ever is Oud Ahmad. The reason I blind bought a 3g bottle of Kelantan is because it's the same caliber of oud as Oud Ahmad - as stated by Adam. Despite the scent charechter not simulating the ever coveted Oud Ahmad, Kelantan is no slouch whatsoever. It's enough to make me forget all my sorrows from just a whiff. Say what you will about Ensar as a man or brand. No one does Kinam like them.

How does it compare to Oud Ahmad?

@rezzzasmr6360 it does not have the same scent profile. It is still a heavy hitter. Like they are both boxers from the same weight class, just different styles. Kelantan is more smokey, more molasses smelling (not sugary) and more ethereal (projects). Oud Ahmed is thiker, as in viscous. It's also velvety red and bitter-sweet like musk. Both have dark, resinous heart. Kelantan is more medative, while Oud Ahmed is more Sultani (luxurious). Think of Oud Ahmed as a wise king of a country, and Kelantan is his brother, who's a spiritual leader.
