A meeting with Ensar of Ensar Oud, where we smell some of his rarer oud oils, and his new collection of perfume - EO.No1 and EO No.2.
As well as burning Kinam and drinking oud infused tea.

FragranceView Interesting that you mentioned being "hooked" on oud as a zen experience. It's baby step shambling and crawling, but oud chemicals are useful for easing the outcome symptoms of post traumatic events and slowly being researched. If everyone had a great natural scent surrounding them in unity there wouldn't be so much violence and suffering in the world. I believe that oud resin and other ingredients have the same goal protecting the life of a tree from hazards of the outside than it have in humans trying to protect themselves from themselves and each other in a hazardous environment like society and it's way of life. Hard to ask for sensibility in a world where the experience of feeling scents is now measured by compliments and frivolousness of marketing. Very little humanity that is numbing more and more people all over. Maybe one day humans can go back to caves and understand how they should be using their highlightened perception and empathy to interpretation and manipulation of energy in the world. This is absolutely fantastic. I can feel Ensar`s hospitality through the internet. I hate to bring something off-topic in to the conversation, but it has been my life experience that people who, like Ensar, are devout to their religion... have a different kind of rhythm to them. A conservative public manner, but warmth. Both careful and conservative, but gentlemanly. I find this especially true with Muslims. Great video, Ensar makes the very best Oud products in the world. I put on a small swipe of Kinam Rouge I sourced from Ensar that I’m eternally grateful for while watching to set the mood. This sweet berry-like woody Vietnamese oil is out of this world. Natures perfume is a gross understatement to sum up some of these specialty Oud oils. I LOVE this oil and Ensar in general. He is a blessing to us and a genuinely awesome person. Thank you both for taking the time to put this Oud lovers dream conversation together.

What a fantastic experience, the medicated oud coffee really zoned you out for a good 30 mins. I'm highly frustrated that we don't have smell- o- vision rolled out. Hello Peter! ❤❤❤ for this wildest of fragrances' video. And by wildest I mean the nature in its truest purest and virgin form. I literally could sense the smell of different ouds while you were describing the profiles of each! And.... amazingly you finally did what I have always wanted to; drinking a parfum😊. In my last comment I mentioned drinking or eating perfumes and was extremely amazed to see you drink an Oud Tea! Throughout this video you made me feel as if we humans are born incomplete with our pieces of soul lost apart. And different people find their scattered selves differently-self actualization- as they call it. And among them the best endeavours are of those who find the best of fragrances that complete them. I feel and think in a very abstract way whenever I sniff perfumes... Like you sniff many and just a few is actually the lost part of your soul that finally completes you!! Lol I think in a schizophrenic way about perfumes!!!! Have loads to write about the affects of a perfume!!!! but let me end it by saying that all regards and salute to you and Ensar for doing the greatest job on earth!!! Wish you both success with "restlessness" for discovery of more n more of heavenly fragrances! All the best..

yeah I have a sample of that myself, it's very smooth, slightly sweet, but not like fruity sweet like the Thai ones.. more like a slight honeyed sweetness, kind of resinous and woody, no funk, no earth, just more wood / resin / honey

@@FragranceView Nicely said. I like that People's Ceylon. Relaxing, yet uplifting. I got Adiko X , I think that's the name of it. Dates, spices, depth .Nice. I got his Sandalwood kit. Love it. I got his first release of EO No 1 , not the parfum though. Haven't sampled it .Will try and get a 5 ml of it. I have a 5 ml of his EO No 2 Pure Parfum. Love the sandalwood in the long dry down. Waiting for LuckyScent's 15 to 20% off deal .Going to pick up a couple from Ensar. I don't know which ones I'll get from LuckyScent, but People's Ceylon is one of them. I think I must have 6 or 7 samples from them. Very gifting people. I put on EO No 2 Pure Parfum last night before bed. I need to relax. The sandalwood right ,13 hours later, now is just silly. Real mysore is so so good. Can't wait get into the artisinal agarwood oils. Still love his attars too. Again Peter, thanks .

I enjoyed watching this a lot. Now all I need is to finally get my bachelors degree, work myself up the chain and then probably still not be wealthy enough to ever afford something as great as that stuff. I feel like I should get my nose on the Aroha Kyaku if it is as affordable as it gets for the high quality oils Ensar offers and still smells incredible. I did not know you were developing your own brand of perfumes. That sounds like a very interesting project.

In the thai tabac attar, you said you smelled lavender or hints of it; does that scent profile stay throughout? Either way, i was convinved and bought samples of both lol. Didn't try the Tabac on skin! Main note probably was the Juniper though it didn't strike me until he told me it was in there!
