Incredible, nuanced performance that nails it. The Adagio is stunning and emotional. Congrats to all members of the ensemble.

To me the Adagio, deep, pathos, spiritual, very emotional, beautifully performed.

There were two Italian baroque composers by the name of Marcello: Benedetto Marcello and Alessandro Marcello, who happened to be brothers. C.H. doesn't bother to tell us who of the two composed this concerto (doesn't say much about their opinion of the audience). It appears to be Alessandro Marcello, who denied his brother's widow financial support.
