I am amazed and humbled to see the blind man singing in the choir, reading the music in Braille. What a gift! Lovely performance.

Elizabeth Poston lived a few miles away from me. There is a lovely walk which goes past her house with a beautiful view. It's very inspiring landscape - the author EM Forster lived in the same house as a child and he and Elizabeth knew each other. I think of that view every time I hear Apple Tree.

Such full and exquisite sound from a small group! Just goes to show that choral singing is not a matter of quantity but quality.

This is definitely a golden apple on my tree of Christmas carols. The blend and strength of the voices is captivating. I have taken many bites of this apple and still return for more every year. Thank you all for the beautiful sound, may God bless you for your singing and I wish you all a Happy Christmas. 'Keep Singing'! Martin

Beautiful performance, but I can't believe the number of people who couldn't refrain from coughing for a mere 3 minutes.

I don't blame the young man at 0:26 as he enjoys listening to the ladies. Their voices are beautiful.

I much prefer it with mature voices than with kids.

The tree of life my soul hath seen, Laden with fruit and always green; The trees of nature fruitless be, Compared with Christ the Apple Tree. His beauty doth all things excel, By faith I know but ne'er can tell The glory which I now can see, In Jesus Christ the Appletree. For happiness I long have sought, And pleasure dearly I have bought; I missed of all but now I see 'Tis found in Christ the Appletree. I'm weary with my former toil - Here I will sit and rest awhile, Under the shadow I will be, Of Jesus Christ the Appletree. This fruit doth make my soul to thrive, It keeps my dying faith alive; Which makes my soul in haste to be With Jesus Christ the Appletree.
