Actually, for all it's cartoon stylized violence, 300 was based on a true historical event - the battle of Thermopylae during the Persian wars. It's a very famous historical "story" and once you strip away all the movie hyperbole, the core events in the movie are surprisingly accurate historically. As a history student who studied the Persian wars in detail in high school and even watched an earlier movie version of the events, I found this adaption of the story quite interesting!

Bist du dir sicher ? 200.000 sind recht wenig ,wenn man bedenkt das Persien in der Zeit fast ganz Asien erobert hat. Quatsch ist das Ende von 300 , da man dort die Griechen gegen die letzten Perser kämpfen sieht (mehr oder weniger). Der Hauptteil der Armee Persiens ging in einer Seeschlacht unter :D
