Caleb; I went into the Jayco site then looked closely at the Renogy lithium system. Too many negative issues to make it an option particularly in comparison to other (much better!!!!) systems that are available. There are reasons why other manufacturers have gone to Xantrex, Lithionics, Master Volt, Relion, Battle Born, etc. A lack of storage is another issue with these Jayco vans. Plus, no B van should ever be sold without a spare tire.

Entegra should offer this with the rear bed configuration like the "Launch". There MUST be a spare tire. The lithium system is from Renogy which is considered to be a discount line. Entegra promotes itself as a premium brand and, therefore, should be using premium UL 1973 certified lithium batteries from Xantrex, Lithionics or Master Volt, as 3 examples.

We have a self built 19' Transit. The one in the video is not 19', it's the longer 22' Transit. You can tell by how much of the body the slider door covers and how many side windows it has. Also, it's AWD not 4x4.

My family lives in all different states and I usually drive to visit them. This would be the perfect thing to take for those long road trips or a week of camping. I feel like the space behind the driver side would be a great set up to work at because it is a little more closed off, so less distraction, and that chair would so comfy to work in. I like that the bathroom is a good distance from the bed. I don't like most of the wet baths in a Class B, it's usually a deal breaker, but I don't think the one in this model would bother me as much. The open space behind the driver seat would be great extra storage for a suitcase or some outdoor gear while driving. I do wish the garage area had some storage, but I think that would be a big compromise to the layout. Plus, you could always get a small trailer or add roof top storage if you needed it. I really like this one. I couldn't think of a lot of dislikes. The screens at both entrances (side and back) is also HUGE! Love it.

Great looking RV! I think it has plenty of storage in the overhead cabinets for your stuff. And I think most Class B owners fill their water tank and use that instead of staying connected to city water Matt, so it's not big deal the connections are inside at the back. The only thing I don't like about this RV is the price, but all Class B's are ridiculously priced, so it's expected.

Love it! AWD Transit, 148" chassis, Lithium setup, decent size wet bath, good size fridge, and a usable bed for two considering the small size, with no wasted space. Well done! It's a Class B from a premium brand, so I have a feeling that I will dislike the price by the time I finish the video, but that's it.

So like number 1, this seems to be a very well built B! Love the Ford Transit and AWD is icing on the Cake! number 2, Lithium option, number 3 the fridge looks like it is compressor and is HUGE! 3 thing we don't like, number 1, sink in the wet bath (offer a fold down one, can make it larger and recoup some of the room in the Lav), number 2, into the shiny Euro styling, much prefer natural wood Shaker Style cabinets, number 3, microwave being down low, good for safety but bending over is sometimes unsafe as well! All in all though, this is a Dynamite Unit and will be looking for it at Sicards RV here in Ontario as they are our Entegra Dealer that is the closest in Canada! Great Review!

For a comparison, I just looked at Benimar Amphitryon 940 which is about the same size and length on a Fiat Chassis. Comparing the prices, the Benimar is EU €90,000 (USD $93,424) while the one above is USD $198,300. That's twice the price. The Benimar sleeps 5 adults, can sleep 6 if there are two kids and 4 adults, has a dedicated large shower AND a dinette for 5 provided you swivel the two cab seats. Also has a huge wardrobe. There's also a lot of cargo space in the back with a garage. I really feel bad for customers who are missing out on such products.

It’s overpriced at msrp for sure. This will probably be $150’s - The European market I believe is no haggle. But A Ram chassis is cheaper especially if it’s a cab chassis vs full van chassis. Then add the extra cost of the transit chassis and AWD. Then add lithium (I believe most European models are low capacity) then things like AC and full Black and Gray etc.

It's only a tiny bit claustrophobic because of the wet bath, but the seating/bed in the back would be the reason, what an excellent use of space. Less storage in the back because, if I don't miss my guess, the drivers side jump seat has the batteries, and there's a diesel heater under the back seat. So I'm going to pass that lack of storage, because safety is a concern. I also love that there's an inductive cooktop. For one or two people, that & the microwave are all you need.

Overall really nice class B. You could use a large storage box on back for extra storage for camp stove. Maybe some removable adjustable shelves in wardrobe so option for pantry if don’t need to hang anything. 😊

You can't get white quilted seats in a transit, Entegra reupholstered the cab. Seems pretty nice. Cramped of course, but that's inevitable with a mid bath. The desk area is great, people work on the road nowadays. I'm fine with no garage. You trade storage for living space, just a choice. To everyone complaining about the price, the lithium system is probably a $20,000 option. Everyone wants it but this is basically a Volta system (or maybe it is Volta). That's what those cost. It's nice that it's only 20 foot. At 22 to 24 you might as well get a B plus. Must be a 2023 chassis with those cameras. They could have rounded the corner on the front of the bathroom, would make the front feel more open.

It’s cute and the interior looks really good. I especially like the lithium batteries, needing no generator. I just wish you could have started up to show all the safety features and taken for a drive. That fridge space is awesome. At under 20’, easy to drive and easy to park, but no ladder. Kudos.

Just some suggestions because I really like your videos! 1) Please show the bathroom area without sitting and standing in it--I understand that it helps to see how big it is with a person in it, but we can't see the unit by itself. 2) Please show the details of the vehicle without showing the faces of the people doing the talking--we don't get to see enough of the vehicle because we are constantly having the person's face in the way. Once a presenter is introduced, we don't need to see them.

I've never seen any European camper van with this floor plan. All European vans have a front lounge area. Also, they are dirt cheap. It is as if you only pay for the conversion and get the van for free.

Garage space is important for all the stuff you don’t want to store in your interior cabinets (hoses, elec cords, leveling blocks, etc.) where are the pull valves for the grey & black tanks? The valves were not visible in the walk around. How about the low water drain and tank heaters?

Im intrigued by many van floor plans, but sadly this floor plan is my least favorite - it’s really cramped. Matt, to answer the question about water hook ups inside the van . . This is common, they put the water hook up inside to protect the hoses/lines etc. from freezing weather. I believe many van lifers just fill up the water tank when they are low, then close the doors. Not a fan of this set up, but I get the need. Thank you for bringing up this van tour.

Compared to other van life vans you see, they did a great job! I would like to see it with a bed or murphy bed in the back. I would like a pull out faucet and a sink that you could put a drying rack over. Make sure they have cpap hook ups near the bed. Need a review on the fridge function. Show how shelves fit in the pantry closet.That bathroom is really good. I hope that door is waterproof. Where are the exhaust fans located?

I would have preferred a twin configuration in the back because it is easier to crawl out of bed during the night without disturbing your mate. The cabinets are lovely and see soft offer good storage. I do worry about the lack of a garage space to tools, and auto equipment. The price is just not doable. I bought a 2 bed/2 bath condo just five miles for the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico….for $175,000 totally renovated

That small pipe underneath could be a diesel heater exhaust. Since it doesn't have propane. Nice rig but I think the tellaro 20l is a nicer more useful layout.

It’s the exhaust for the Timberline hydronic heating system onboard, which does use gasoline from the chassis.

While this is a good day tripper with cooking and an emergency bathroom, for the price I would get a class C as it can be used for camping. Two people trying to move around and camp in this is a fight waiting to happen. For half the cost, I can get a nice conversion van as the family hauler, since you would not try to camp in this. Unless you hate your partner.

Seems like an o.k. van ? I often wonder how often a.w.d. is needed , considering most of these vans never see a dirt road. Eliminating the generator on these models is not something I would find optimal. Maybe , a more traditional set up with a 300 amp lithium battery , 300 watts of solar and a gas generator on the Promaster chassis for around $35 k less would offer more value to the average van camper/traveler ??

The Ford Transit is NOT 4x4, its AWD. Very different things. That said, it is a nice RV and will look at that, the Ekko, and the Coachmen Beyond Li.

Hi Matt and Andrea! I think this is a great class B. They did a great job! The bathroom doesn’t pass for me because toilet not porcelain. My dislikes are not much storage outside. Don’t like the no space behind the front seat. I don’t like there not being a cord for the outdoor shower unless there is one. My likes are I like the cabinets above. I do like the bathroom size just toilet not porcelain. I love the big bed. Thank you Matt and Adela and Caleb!

I have a huge problem with this rig- 25 gallons of fuel! Ay Carumba, not acceptable nor is the 31 gallon option. This puppy probably probably gets about 15-16mpg on the highway so a 350 maximum with the 25 gallon. The extra 6 gallons would be huge but when will a spare tire replacement auxiliary tank be available? Sprinter Store promised one but now it seems to be gone from the site.

I wanted to like this but too many dislikes. As a van owner, I’m scratching my head. I do love that there is no propane, I like the induction cooktop and large fridge. Dislikes, no garage is big. Where would you put your cables, hoses, camp chair, grill etc. i get that there needs to be room for the lithium but that’s just poor design. They could have mitigated this by man king the headliner larger, but it’s all chopped up so fairly useless for storage. Also, with a B van, I never understand why they have a water hookup. I think most van owners just fill the tank. Another problem, and I think it has to do with the Ford, is the way the awning sits. It’s the same on the Coachman Beyond, it sort of is too long for the coach. It’s really ugly and impractical. We did not see if the windows open. Are they awning style? At that price they should be. Entegra designers need to go back to the drawing board. 👎

The price is ridiculous. Eight hours of a/c is not enough for the Arizona desert. You will cook. Also what is the lifetime of LI batteries. I'm all for green technology...but it seems like there's a lot of rushing going on... In the meantime I am going to be staying with a tried and true generator and solar for back up.

It’s 8-11 hours on nonstop AC usage. Most of the competition in this space is using 3,000-5,000 watt lithium systems, which can only run your AC for 2-4 hours nonstop. BUT, if you’re not interested in a lithium setup, we do make the Expanse too, which has a traditional propane and generator setup. Thank you for your feedback!

No, with 4wd you have locking differentials side to side and front to back. No tire can spin without spinning all the others. Awd = have differentials on the axles where one tire can slip, yet braking systems are used to stop the slipping wheel. Generally AWD is preferred in most situations for most people. With 4wd on pavement in turns you have wheels squeeking since they are all locked in

Yes yes we know you guys don't like vans. I don't like the water/sewer/ garage/carpet area at all. They could do s fridge/freezer/microwave set up like some of their competitors. The microwave is in a terrible spot. Bathroom is nice. Seating is nice.
