Saw that you asked a question about your video. I personally don't see any cons and I was laughing at the subtle jokes you make here and there. They don't get in the way, in fact they're part of the points that you make. I really appreciate that you incorporate your gameplay clips too! It really adds a personalized touch. I also like how you ask about what makes a great remake. I think in my opinion it's just about how the creators see some of the shortcomings of the original and build from there, polish a few things whilst sticking to its spirit.

Mercer was awesome in the remake But tbh, Nicole and Kendra are way better examples of how the remake vastly improved the characters from the original 2008 game. Mercer was a menacing villain in the original, so the remake amplifies the character by an infinite Nicole & Kendra, however, weren't really the brightest parts of the game since in the OG, Nicole was merely a glorified Princess Peach & Kendra's attitude & behavior was too obnoxious to the point you're not even really liking her way before. Nicole finally showing her own agency as a senior medical officer on board the Ishimura as well as showing just why Isaac loves her and wants to save so badly & Kendra now being more reasonable & understanding with better nuance is quite an awesome improvement from the original.

I did only tried Dead Space demo back in the Playstation 3 area. Was sold but did never end up bay or play the orginal dead space. DEAD SPACE REMAKE, would soon be my first DEAD SPACE experience ' 😃

Oh man love the review man. Love the jokes 😂 that surprised me when you were comparing certain situations you experienced in the game, caught the whole Isaac/Nicole thing and the mystery collectibles being compared to obvious zits All throughout an entertaining and quite personal review, knowing that a Dead Space fan like you was quite skeptical of this remake. I was definitely very much agreeing regarding enemy mechanics, difficulty and puzzles. I am a little aggrieved that enemies in games are almost choreographed or expected, particularly for replayability aspect. I'm not saying every game needs to be so cruel, but it speaks so much when we see the devs putting in the effort to make enemies unpredictable or random in their appearances, or just the simple difficult way to put these enemies down, is personally highly appreciated 👍 Very well done 😊

Thank you, Susie. I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed it 😊 Motive did a great job. I didn't feel today's holdy-handy approach, save for a few instances. I got hit lots of times and died a good handful of times, too (although 4 of these deaths came from the last giant tentacle in the game!).

This game had its share of bugs, glitches, freezes, and crashes, but these issues didn’t nullify the overall quality and experience on offer here. A Dead Space 2 remake would be very welcome.

This remake really resurrected a dead series and I hope they remake 2, eventually
